starting small to see whats hapnin

OK,heres the deal..
I never grew anything in my life.The reason this wole thing came about was because 2 reasons:
1.I live in nyc,and anybody ever been here or lives here as well knows the prices for that "FIRE,FIRE"!! are ridiculous.Ive been all over the country and overseas a few times ad never..I MEAN NEVER EVER! paid what ive paid for premo shit like i have in my own damn city (450-600 an Oz.)

2.Then theres you guys (RIU)..I mean ive never seen so many people dedicated to there green thumb.i came on this site to see if you can actually be a small mr or mrs. green. (was under the impression that your light bill ould be too crazy and police kick ya door in and take ya kids away) ok a little extreme,but you get the point,but when i started readin peoples journals seeing pics (great pics btw) and reading great political (if you will) reasons why we should be our own growers and of course legalize it.The # 1 seller for me was the safety of me knowing whatsgoing into my lungs/body.and the way the economy is looking i will save (and make) tons of money as a heavy 3-4 blunts a day smoker.SO HERE I AM...online buying all sorts of thngs like a kid in a candy store!

i dont have alot of money,but im a grinder..so if something needs to be added to the setup..i will FIND a way to get it,but im going to need you guys help every step of the way (thats if i actually get someone to stop by my jounal)

PS. the cuttings are scraped,they came from a plant i started in late AUG. some garbage weed (was doing the "I WONDER IF THIS SEED WILL GROW IF I PUT IT IN THE GROUND" TEST)
BTW, my seeds came from nirvna yesterday after a 2 week wait (not bad at all,i love nirvana now)..i got PPP (fem),NLx shiva & jock horror..
as in the pic i have two 6 planter bubbleponics.im only using 1 for now.i planted 2 ppp's,2 JH'S and 1 NL x SHIVA..now for the waiting game... thats all for now

i alo have this... with a 600 watt hps cool tube that i was going to set up for 2 mother plants in a homebox s..what do you think?

Whats a good temp for starting fom seeds.as the days go by the temps outside are getting colder and i have setup by a window...heres what the temps are wit box all zipped up..are these temps ok?? (last pic)
BTW, the 1st pic i was just wondering is this how the resevoir suppose to be setup with 2 bubblers?

DAY 5: 1 out of 5 sprouted (JH)..I looked in on them with a flash light to see if some others had sprouted,but may have been a little slower..not sure whats the deal..is it ok to let the other seedlings sorta catch up to the 1 that hatched or should i toss them and try again??

please any help is greatly appreciated..thnx

I'd plant the one that's opened without delay. What do you mean "toss 'em and start again" ? Your retail seeds? Sorry. Confused.

well what i mean is..i was gona either see if the other seeds in RW have sprouted with a flashlight (literally loking into RW cube w/flashlight to see if seed cracked and was just moving a little slower) or just take out the ones that havent sprouted and put new seeds in new RW cubes in its place

I'd give 'em a bit more time to sprout.

well ilooked into RW to see if other seeds had cracked..only 2 out of 5 have cracked...the other 3 i replaced w/new RW cubes because the water tube that sits on the RW cube was sitting at botom of RW cube (barely touching it),so i repositioned tube and put the same seeds that didnt crack back in there..hopefully ill see a change..so far just the JOCK HORROR has cracked..and to top it all off..when i was replacing cubes i didnt quite think it through (just had 1st smoke of the day ) and placed the 3 seeds in the same cup..now i dont know which is PPP or JH..lmao
HOEFULLY..ill b able to tell the diff. as they grow

well dont know whats wrong with upload feature,but cant get pics up now..maybe tomm is a better day

ok finally was able to put some pics up,everyhing seems ok..3 out of 5 have cracked now and they have like an "AT&T BAR" look (pic 2)..seedling in pot 4 (under #1) has cracked,but still looking to make her way to the top..i turned on inlne fan/carbon filter to see if it would help with temps and it did..temps were at like 84 w/o it.i know 84 is still good,but was worried i would wake up itll be up in the 90's or something so i figured to try and keep them lower just in case.Now my last seed has cacked but it isnt moving..like i can see its cracked but its been like that for 2 days same size no new growth..is that abad seed?..should i just put new seed in its place??
PS..last 2 pics are the pics of plant i have in my yard from seed expierement.i forgot how old he/she is,but does she look like i can maybe take cuttings..she definately older than 1 month

I am already seeing some stretching on the seedlings. You need to get the light source closer.

damn im gonna have to figure out how to prop up the setup because i dont hink the retractor can go any lower

got light source closer..it couldnt go any lower so basically i got setup closer to light..its now like 1 1/2 inch away from light...already read about using CFLS closer because they will not burn plant..so we all good now

OK,in last pics seedling #3 was stretching,so as i said got setup closer to lights,but i go in and check on them this morn and #3 is like leaning over...will it straighten out down the road??..any info wil hlp thnx

ok she was stretched a lil too much and she started leaning a lil,so i strung her up..yea i know a lil early to be stringing,but like RIU buddy said im not just gone do nothing and let her die so here we are...

here they are new pics..i changed water because it had a nasty white film floating on top of resevoir water..they all look ok i guess..just biggest plant (toothpick boo) has little yellow specs on 1 leaf..any help to what that maybe or is it ok for now?..anyway,toothpick boo im glad to say she is supporting herself (independent woman) so removed toothpick...seed #4 is coming out,seed#5,still nothing..and i planted new seed in #6 (PPP)..I HAVE ANOTHER SEED GERMING TO REPLACE #5 (NL x SHIVA)
P.S. I PUT 3 TSPN OF SWEET NECTAR (MOLASSES) INTO RES. I WILL START NUTES 1/2 OF SUGGESTED STRENGTH WHEN THEY ARE @ 4 WEEKS

hey this is goin to be a sweet project!!! im totally interested =)

THNX I HOPE SO..i think im gonna get another dual spec CFL for 2nd bubbler..wasnt a big fan of the CFL grow from what i read b4 i got it on here,but now...im happy with the outcome,especially if i get an oz or more from each plant OMG!! fuuhgetabboutit!!
