hey spudman whats up??
hey getaway, do you use the same growing regimen in FL? (seaweed extract, promix, etc)
iv'e seen bio-weed in florida at the hydro store never used it i have only used the extractCan you recommend any particular commercially available kelp extract?
Depends on what your looking to spend my friend, i would suggest neptunes harvest kelp/seaweed extract if you can, its like 15 dollars for a quart, and that makes 250 gallons(dont quote me though hahaha) and its all cold processed and made in america!!!!!! I personally havent heard anyone dis this brand(they also make a hydroslated fish extract, and a fish/seaweed extract combo in one bottle all great stuff!)Can you recommend any particular commercially available kelp extract?
WOW man the npk on your sea weed is 1.5 - 1 - 5.5, thats some potent seaweed no wonder your able to just feed your plants this extract the entire veg cycle!!!! and you get quite a boutquite of mirco nutes from your extract as well, what type/strain of seaweed do you like to use to make your extract?View attachment 2166735 here's the analysis from the state university on the seaweed extract and the swamp water we use ,i always get an analysis on the water i use from different spots its 35 dollars from the state lab
haha i use only ascophyllum nodosum seaweed and i also use 1/3 rd deep water kelp (i dive for that myself and harvest from the deep water kelp forest)that is very high in potash and calcium for an extra kick, it has taken over 2 years to get it with a ph of 7.1 and the npk's that are good and to get it consistent npk's on every batch . we are getting it(the formula) trademarked now also. ya only use 2 tablespoons per gallon of water and yes i have to use water that is handy actually that is the first thing to be sure of before setting up base camp somewhere out in the middle of nowwhere land hahaha . i have found the best spots in the world and found out thru analysis that someone has a junkyard 10 miles away and has been dumping bad shit in the brooks and streams and it gets in the water table and guess what ? IT KILLS YA PLANTS !! once was enough of that shit for me along time ago. just food for thought for some new guerilla growers out there water is very important. always check at least the ph levels of any ya might be using to avoid nute lock and worse. florida is a great spot for people dumping shit in the woods especially the state parks where all the best growing spots are .Depends on what your looking to spend my friend, i would suggest neptunes harvest kelp/seaweed extract if you can, its like 15 dollars for a quart, and that makes 250 gallons(dont quote me though hahaha) and its all cold processed and made in america!!!!!! But if your budgets a little larger and you want some dank shit i recomend thirve alive GREEN as a kelp extract, its marketed as a transplant stimulatnt(you spray your roots with it when transplanting and then the day after you transplant you foliar with this stuff and theres almost no transplant lag or shock at all stuff works great!!!!) and b vitamin booster, but its 4 different kinds of kelp/seaweed from around the world, cold processed and they add 2 or 3 kinds of b vitamins to it after the kelp to boost your plants metabolism and aid in faster nutrient uptake

And are you telling me you use swamp/pond water to water your ladies getaway? ive always been weary of trying open water sources out in the woods( to much non-benficial bacteria and fungus), but ive never thought to run test's on that particular water to see if its good either....
ouch! that must have been a pisseri have found the best spots in the world and found out thru analysis that someone has a junkyard 10 miles away and has been dumping bad shit in the brooks and streams and it gets in the water table and guess what ? That's some cold water! lol I guess it would be bad form to just dredge it up! As long as you come back up with some lobsters in your pocket... cockroaches of the sea!i also use 1/3 rd deep water kelp (i dive for that myself and harvest from the deep water kelp forest)
weather here sucks today!!!
oh ya we got plenty of barrells full of water now but want more for extra plants. been going thru the first batch pheno hunting and found the male and female i was looking for .looking good man. pine cone a hahahaha. 400 bucks in slug dope man ouch! i here ya on the water thing best get it now while its plentiful. any chance you had some tarps up and barrels out while all this rain hit? would have been a quick way to gather up even though it would have been shitty working out in the rain.
