steaking plants

i just wanted to know about steaking your plants (as in with a bit of bamboo or whatever). Is it a good thing to do or a bad thing if your plants are drooping?

i'm growing some bagseed in sunlight and the strain is somewhat poor, and the stems seem always to be somewhat thin and weak. The plants are healthy i mean, i know it's just this strain because when i had a different strain growing along with them it was (evidently) much stronger.
Is holding your plants up a good way of supporting the plant when it's too heavy to hold itself up? Or does this comprimise the action of the wind against the stems?

thanks in advance for any help,
gimp.

Steak it man. If its Out doors and can't hold itself up now, I doubt it will grow a thick enough stem to hold itself up with time.

Oh also, when you stake the plant will sometimes naturally begin to have woody growths in the areas that are being held up. Had a platinum OG that would alsway drop. Staked it for awhile and now it doesn't even need it anymore.
