Hey, havent been around for a while but I just caught myself up with your thread since I left.

First off, wow there is some bad advice here! Like the guy that told you they were all females. You cannot tell just by looking at leaf structure or the 'look' of the plant.
Also, you do not need to remove parts of the plant, ever, except (optionally) for the final stage of flowering (aka lollypopping). This will otherwise only hurt the plant's final yield

Also, you can let a male live with the females for a week or so before killing them. Their balls need to fully develop and then be released. When you remove a male just make sure that you do not shake it! this will release pollen. I would remove the male from the room that the cabinet is in before doing anything to it.

The nutrient mixture you are using has enough nitrogen in it. In general, plants cannot have too much phosphorous / potassium. Therefore, if your plants are not getting enough nitrogen, just increase the dosage of nutes. Yellowing on the lower leaves is inevitable, but overall your plants looked a little lime colored, which is too little N. As it has been said, you can supplement the flowering nutes with some veg nutes for the first week or two of flowering. One or two good feedings (spaced between a normal watering) will get your plants back on track, no harm done! There are other signs of deficiency (but not serious deficiency) such as the redding of your stems. Redding/purpling on the FAN LEAF stems is okay, but otherwise it is a problem and needs more food.

As far as some of your plants being taller than others, I noticed that they mostly have the same number of nodes, it is just the spacing. This will be fine, you may even end up with some huuuge nugs!
You can LST at pretty much any time during the grow if you start to hit the ceiling, but of course it is better to start early. If it gets really bad, all you have to do is get one of those tomato wires (basically a couple of metal circles attached with metal rods) and then you can bend the top along one of the circles, effectively setting a maximum height whenever you want

remember, you never gotta be stressed out about this - you're growing weed man!
looking good and good luck dude! and take everything on the internet with a grain of salt

Is it possible to tie down my tall female plant???? shes getting to tall for comfort what can I do?? The main stem is preety thik I dont wanna break it or anything... Suggestions???

Sure dude, just get one of these

You don't have to bend the main plant much, maybe 10 degrees, to reduce the height to 70-80% of its current height. from there, just weave the top (as it grows) around one of the circles.
any tie down material will work. some like twist ties because of easiness, others like hemp because, well... obvious reasons!

These are also useful to get light down to lower buds!

LST means LOW stress training. with this principle you bend the plant a little, only to what feels comfortable, then leave it there. in a week, you can bend it a little further!

:peace:

*edit: Also, I believe this will put a smile on your face:

the person here has obviously LSTd while the plant was still growing, but it just shows what you can do. You could probably coerce the plant to grow from upright to upside down. that would be sick

technically that video is SCROG isnt it... which is technically LST, but ive noticed on here that LST mainly refers to the tie down method of Low Stress Training not to all LST techniques in general... i dont know really im pretty new here haha anyways thats cool though

just read the whole journal. Good stuff. The male you just took out had an excellent root system. Compact, white fleshy roots. Just what you would like in the females. Yellowing of the leaves could be caused from multiple things from too little water, too much water, not enough nutes, too much nutes, not enough light, etc. This is why you should keep a schedule and diary of what, when and where you feed, water, fertilize, temp., humidity, etc. This info can help on the second grow tremedously.
Killer setup. Watch out for the blind leading the blind. I give newbies props for trying to help, Not many verterans chiming in to give advise.
Good luck on the grow!!!!
