Sterilizing a room after Spider mites

I've sterilized my grow room after chopping and started over only to end up with spider mites again the next year. Maybe, they come in from outdoors?

9 out of 10 times they come from clones or you were near someone else's plants that had them they transfer on clothes

That would have been funny if my neighbors were also growing.

After being mite free for years, I picked some up from a new house plant.
I tried a few of the solutions available at the local hydro store and I failed to fix the problem.
I ended up buying Forbid 4f, applied it twice and have been mite free since.

as long as you have good ventilation, i would put my carbon filter in the oven at about 250 for 20 minutes or so, will not only kill any vermin in it, will help dry out and reactivate the carbon. if you've been using it a while it may make your kitchen smell like weed, may wanna do it very early or very late.
and make sure to remove the dust filter if it came with one and wash it in some bleach water and dry it out.
