Sticky Grows

DID YOU KNOW that I rarely even smoke an entire bowl before tossing the coals and loading fresh?

Jesus I waste a lot of pot now that I'm so flush with it! Fresh tastes best. Looking forward to the Dulytek arriving today.
Damn right man. I had to put my press on hold for a bit. Should hopefully have it when taxes come in instead.

Really good quality Mount Hood Magic from bud is what I thought I'd start with today.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'm gonna become more familiar with it and see what I can do. :fire:
If your weed is all in the same condition, start 190 and work your way up 5 at a time, see what you like best. That'll also change per strain so write everything down !!

Any questions, feel free!

Since I have the ability to vary the top and bottom plate temps, should I? By how much?

First press going. About 4 or 5 grams. At 190 top and bottom it wasn't hot enough at 90 seconds. I bumped to 200 for another 90 and seeing what happens.

Holy frickin hell, you weren't kidding about the stickiness! The smell is absolutely amazing too. I'm thinking higher temps and maybe a bit longer time will yield better. Gonna take my first dab now. bongsmilie

Brings flavor to a whole new level...like, perceptible, in my case...

Based on that bag picture, you will be able to get better yields by compacting/stuffing/prepressing the “puck” before you put into press, the smaller the area (not so much the volume) the more force is available per squish..,,

Can’t remember if i linked this before:

Bag pressure = total force of your press in lbs, divided by (length x width) of your “puck” in inches.
