Strainly.io Clones. Prohibition states?

Do the sellers of clones on here only ship clones in state or will they ship across state borders? And if so what sellers of clones are reputable? Just listened to a Shaping Fire episode and the founder of this website has me interested.

He talked heavily of scammers on the website which has me a little worried but they claim they have it under control.

How safe is it to ship clones to a prohibition state?

Anybody have any recommendations as far as the clones that are available? I've only ever grown from seed and am very interested in the opportunity to start off with fire instead of having to search for it.

They do indeed ship to across state boarders. I’ve used mamma funk and deeply rooted. A1 service trustworthy vendors. I’ve heard good things about shoreline and aroma therapeutic. I recommend checking reviews and trying reputable people, but of coarse be wary this is an open market after all.

Appreciate the quick response! I'll definitely take your advice and check reviews. Were you comfortable with the way they shipped? It seems to me that it would be very hard for them to tell the difference between a cannabis cutting and a decorative or food plant cutting.

Your question should be "How safe is it to RECEIVE clones in the mail in a prohibition state?" as the shipper is not the one who has to worry. That question depends on your state. In Hawaii, if you get caught importing plants or animals without dept of agriculture approval you can face up to a $20k fine....of course people do it anyway.

If you plan on doing it, you need a safe address and you should consider covering your bases with a VPN and encrypted email.

Thanks for your time guys. I would like to hear from someone who has received numerous clones. I've ordered many legal plant cuttings and have never had a shipment opened or questioned.

What would lead the carrier to question a package with a clone in it? Smell almost surely is not an issue. X-ray or whatever they use would just show a plant.

I've ordered plenty of sketchy shit online through various venues and this just seems like a comparatively safe risk. Why would they ever open your package? Has anyone ever had one of these seized? Did you just receive a slip like you would for seized seeds?

MamaFunk our Deeply Rooted? Who has used them? Deeply Rooted has xj13 so I’d like to grab that and mama funk has the Sundae Driver 19. More interested in xj13 (going hard on my Jack Herer crosses this year).
How is deeply rooted quality? Is it the Real deal xj13??

Yea she emailed me back saying it’s a 5 clone minimum and $15-$20 for shipping. $18 per clone. I only needed 1-2 so
I told her I’ll keep her in mind next season or if I do a run indoors soon. Just because it’s Tigers Champagne though lol
