themz gettin frosty my friend, what day 12/12 ARE YOU ? oh and on a damprid note, i dont think its working anymore, but i could be that it rained yesterday and my rh went waaay up...
but pondering that we are creating and "outdoor environment" inside i dont think that those damprid buckets are meant to be used "outside" so maybe only a temporary fix did u put in a new breaker?
no new breaker yet and my damprid hasn't worked for shit either. It didnt work AT ALL. not even the slightest change in RH and i bought the biggest damprid bucket they had (said it was intended for use in large spaces).
im just gonna return it as there is no point to keeping something that i wont use. I left it in for 3 days...after i didnt see a change i took it out of the room as theres no sense to it sitting there doing nothing.
my daytime humidity is a non-factor at 49-52% average. my nighttime humidity is a slight factor as its almost always 55-61% but never over 61.
im hoping if i can manage to stay in the 50s that everything will be alright considering i have a butt load of fans and an a/c that runs almost all the time to battle that humidity and its been the biggest help of anything i have at my disposal. Im still contemplating running a space heater during lights out even though ive heard it wont help.
heres my reason/logic: 1st off during lights out i played with having my exhaust/intake still running and it barely made a dent in the humidity. it still stays high even with everything but the lights running during lights out.
soon as the lights come on humidity starts to drop. within 1 hr of lights on im down to 49-52% again. so it has to be something with the higher temps (from the lights) thats bringing down the humidity as thats all that was different yesterday between lights out and lights on...i usually dont run the exhause/intake during lights out but i did to see if that was the problem.
So im thinking maybe run intake/exhaust, plus my fans, plus the space heater.
could it work?
