Yes and yes! :hump:. They are the 2 on the right in the first pic. They look very indica to me, but it supposed to be Swiss Sativa X NL5hazemist. The leaves and shapes are actually very similar on the two strains so far.
Btw this is my favorite plant so far. It`s 1 of the hazes and has short internode stacking and very healthy looking leaves:

Here`s a new leaf that has been chewed on. What can it be? I`m not trippin, but I have to figure it out if it develops. It`s only on older fanleaves, not in the new growth.:confused: Still no signs of critters to the bare eye

This is some useful stuff that I picked up. It`s a spungelike substance with some charkoal and chemicals, perfume etc. It takes away some of the smell. Getting another airfilter soon lol:blsmoke:

Btw I think they liked the food I gave them, they have realy shot up today

Today it was mold on the surface of the soil when I came back from work. The humidity was pretty high during the night, from 60-70%, and I think this, combined with alot of moisture in the soil, brought it out. Lesson learned:wall:
Is there a remedy for this? Will it hurt my plants?

ok after some reading, I`m not so stressed about this. I`m just going to carefully remove the top 1/2 inch of the soil, and replace it with some fresh dirt. Oh yeah, and make sure it don`t happen again :mrgreen: I just love answering my own questions...:-|

hey man, looking good so far. as far as the mold, let the soil dry until when you stick your finger in the soil it feels dry for at least the first couple inches. this will help combat the mold as well as keep the plant from being over/under watered.

They look green and healthy so far.
Don't worry too much about the minor
deformities in the single fan leaves...
It happens even with the healthiest
of plants. It could of resulted from
a slight ph inbalance, but the rest look
healthy so props on that.

I only use RockWool, but to stop mold
on the tops of the cubes I use RW covers
that are white on top and black on the
bottom. They come in different sizes,
and work very well against light penetration
and preventing mold.

You could use plates too...any thing that
will cover the medium from the light.

Great so far...

looks like a caterpillar or some bigger bug munched on the leaf. i had similar bites, but never figured it out.

I figure I have to let them dry properly for a couple of days. What I did today was I scraped away the molded dirt, sprinkled some cinnamon over it, and covered with fresh dirt. Hope this will stall the mold a bit too.

I took out and examined the plants today, and I must say they look better than ever now:hump: The deformities and discoloration hasn`t spread and the new growth looks very fresh. here`s a pic of the haze that it was most present on:

i did my first grow years ago in an apartment with a 150w hps in a small 1x1 cab. one day a maintanence man came to the door and said he had to look at my ceiling because there was a leak in the apartment above. at the time i didnt really have any odor control either. when he came in, he asked what the smell was. because my placed was trashed from a party i had a few days before, and there was still a keg floating in the middle of my living room i coughed out the excuse that it was just stale beer that i needed to clean. at the time he bought it, but when he came back to put a second coat of paint on my ceiling he said, "you know what, i pinpointed that smell." freaking out and frozen to my chair he said, "dont worry about it, i used to grow back in the day until i got busted for the largest grow op in our town." after cleaning the shit out of my pants, i showed him my small little grow and actually learned quite a few things from him...including the wonders provided by superthrive.

i got extremely lucky though. 99 times out of a 100 that situation goes way differently. i guess the moral is keep good odor control b/c you dont know who is stopping by those places

did the odor leave the appartment or was it a problem only indoors?
