You most likely don't need calmag then. You can look at your municiple water report to see what's in the water.
Yes … pretty easy to snoop online for a report or listing .
Don’t overthink what’s in it …. Hell your lawn , shrubs , houseplants , stovetop ramen and dog don’t care.
Cannabis is resilient, doesn’t need special water or multi bottles of nutes to live.
Sure there are scary things in city water but the chlorine isn’t too detrimental, as plants use this element.

Because i read that ocean forrest runs hot for plants and i dont think they have any defencies yet. Used my tax money for the setup and been digging into other funds for things i diddnt realise i would need it just went over budget fast
I run ocean forest on all my
Seedlings and freshly rooted clones - never had an issue with them burning , after two weeks I start feeding them heavily with big grow , microbe brew and big bloom , as well as a few other odds and ends with RO water , at 5.8ph . I know fox farms claim a month of nutrients in their soil , but I can tell you after two weeks I see a major difference in how they grow with straight RO ph balanced water vs hammering them with nutrients .

Majority of These larger seedlings are 15 days old in the picture “right side are a few clones “ I just topped them all , and defoliated several as they’re growing like a rain forest.

all ilgm feminized seeds , Bruce banner , gorilla glue , Girl Scout cookies , gelato , sunset sherbet ,

wanted to add , my tent is at 85% humidity and 85-95* and I only water 2-3 times a week and very lightly when I do.

also right in front of the humidifier is a bag seed
,
Of grape runtz . It is an ugly ass little plant , doesn’t even look like cannabis , but let me
Tell you the stalk is giving off the most pungent smell when you rub it , hoping it will be something special , even though it looks horrible lol

They seem like they are doing better today. There is some new growth but some things still seem a little off involving the look and shape of the new growth. I am also concerned about the ph water phd it to 6.5 it sat in the vile for a day and looks way higher any. Thoughts?

So, this thread may have saved me from a bit of a headache. lol

I don't mean to hijack this thread from the OP, but I have a question maybe someone can help here instead of creating a whole new thread. I plan on using FFOF mixed with Happy Frog for growing outdoor autos (I live in city with light pollution) and I'll be watering with city tap water, that I plan to PH correct. I was gonna use cal/mag and fox farm big tiger bloom to feed plants once the soil runs out of nutes, roughly around flowering since their autos?; but after reading this thread maybe I should drop the bottled nutes and cal/mag and just use the dr earth that was mentioned here?

I'm looking for nutes to go to the finish line after my soil nutes run out...should I use a combination of Dr Earth Gold All Purpose AND Dr Earth's Flower Girl? Or just one or the other?

Been running FFOF for years, never had a burn issue with seedlings, agree with above, two weeks and start feeding. The yellow one in the back got a little light bleaching.

I would not recommend using just tiger bloom, you need a balanced fert with higher N for vegatative growth, start with the bloom nutes once the autos start to preflower, prior to that use a grow fertilizer, not a bloom fert.

After reading other threads and doing a bit of research, I was under the assumption that FFOF would most likely carry my auto to pre flower, so I would only need nutes to take them to the finish line. Won't the soil be enough for the vege stage? I wondering if the Dr Earth All Purpose & Dr Earth's Flower Girl will be enough? Or maybe just the Dr Earth's Flower Girl will be enough?

I'm using FFOF and trying the Dr. Earth trio (Home Grown/Premium Gold/Flower Girl) dry & schedule recommended in the Dr. Earth link.

I was reading the Dr. Earth feed schedule, and since I'm growing autos in FFOF/HF I think I will try Premium Gold and Flower Girl. Home Grown seems more for vege and Premium Gold is for anytime and Flower Girl is for Bloom. So I should be good, assuming the nutes in my soil last through the entire vege stage of my autoflowers, which are supposedly 85 days from seed germ to harvest.

I’ve always used grow/micro/bloom in varying amounts on the grow and bloom based off the plants life cycle . After two weeks I start incorporating the bloom nutes into the mixture and seems to work better than excluding it till flowering . Just my take . Same goes for my ebb and flow

You’re using FFOF/HF mixed. Happy frog doesn’t have much in the way of nutes. Could you get through veg on it? Yes. But you’ll increase your yield by using some additional veg nutes before you switch to the flower nutes.
