Sunlightshed cool cab fixes

The need for oxygen to the roots is imperative. I changed out the airpump provided for a bigger, dual outlet pump. Went to the aquarium store and found 5" airstone disc and put both in the reservoir. Also found reptile warming mats which are the same as germinating mats and can be used for your cloner. With the new pump,l ooks like a champagne tub! Definitely, the fogger should be used as well and keep the white plate clean for max fog.

Couple pix from my 1st CAB grow. Single female (my favorite) Jack Herrer, 7 year old seeds from Amsterdam. Turned out great except I did not prune enough, but the big bud really took you away.

yea! I did a lot of modifications to mine.IT just seemed to tight to me.I did 6 grows with the cabinet.now I booted the cab and I use a closet as my cab,way bigger and I got ride of the res thing because I couldnt move my plants around.once they rooted your not moving them, so I went with hydro 8 pack .man it sure is nice to get in there and move things around.I thinkI got about 3 more feet in hieght and 4 more feet in width.I def like it better.not tyring to rat on the cab.just some things Im trying to share.

I had mine shipped direct to the house. It was a heavy mutha fucker too, we had to drag it downhill around to the back of the house to put into the basement. Good thing we had one of those dolly things to move it on.

I think you could hook it back up, you may want to get some of that sticky silver ducting tape to go around the connection. You have to remove it anyways to change out the light bulb.:peace:

thanks beach & chiceh!

their instructions suck! no mention of how to change bulbs.

?#2 they claim to ozonator is contained within the carbon filter, is it? (it'll save me from opening it up)

cheers

It is in there, you could take it all apart and shit, but I am sure it is there, lol. DId you lay out all the parts and stuff to make sure you have it all? I have heard of people missing stuff like pumps, hoses, etc.:peace:

Ya the ozonator ..... the inline rocker switch has no on or off marked on it ......I couldnt hear anything from it with all the fans on and Im not around the setup when its dark cycle so I used my power detector pen and the power went through the switch with the rocker down on the plug side and I thought that would be the other way around but never assume anything with these setups LOL

mini cab dudes! ive read just about anything i could on hydroponics so I'm thinking just a tad lower them the bottom of the netpots.

or should it be just over the bottom? or to the bottom?

cheers

The water shouldn't touch the net pots, you need room for the floating fogger thing in there (if your came with one). I leave a couple of inches from the top so not to touch the net pots.:peace:

have a looksee, i think im done with the setup. i have a couple of touch up, the res in the back needs some caulking and the drippers weren't dripping in my test run, but the back res emptied a third in a 10min span.

does it take a while for the drippers to start dripping?
