East Coast Pro:I have a box I made that's 3x5 and I have a 400w hps. I have a shelve that 20" off floor and 2x2 sq. for little plants in one corner. I have 8 plants on floor in different size containers at least 3 gal, some cut down 5gal buckets. Probably can get 2 more and can have 4 to 6 littler plants on shelve. Start growing something already.lol Plus we want to see it....rw

I'd probably do 9 in a 3x3. You can try and do 16 in a 4x4 but you'll see the difference on the outer plants. Maybe rotate them around so everyone gets a chance in the middle.

My wife really wants me to quit spending money. I sold the blackstar today so I'm bummed for that but i did promise her id get the money back I spent on the 600!

Damn, I would have liked to see how well the blackstar would veg and prepare them for the 600w. Thats a bummer man, what are you going to veg with?

Without a veg light I'll possibly just stick to the way it is now. I don't want to run the 600 mh for 18/6, I'm too cheap! You know I put that blackstar on Craig's for $250 and held firm on it, I wasn't really thinking it would sell, I was just listing it to make the wife happy lol.

I used to use regular 4' shop lights to veg. I could hang one in the tent, it should fit. If I ever do go that route! Shit I sold my 150 today too, told my wife now I don't have an emergency light if my 600 dies!

Stroker man, I put three of those shop light in sort veg box and they work great. They were sitting around after I changed to 400w hps. They had t-12s bulbs in them, draw 240w if I turn on all three at once...rw

Temp was at 82 so I had see what was up. That catch tray thing the bottom of the tent was keeping the vents from opening well to let air in. The short solution was to take it out. I need to fold it down or cut it shorter, or I'll just leave it out. I'm not too impressed with this tent, I don't recommend buying the cheapest thing you can find on eBay like I did! It doesn't have sleeves at the vents either.

Awesome plants as always bro!! Until I can get my $ right for the equipment needed for my HPS tent grow..I've been doing a lot of research on 12-12fs with CFLs, when I start I'll post a link here!!
