I think my rice crispies were a flop! My buddy tried a quarter and it didn't do anything so he just ate the other 3/4 right now. We'll see if it does anything!

This site has been really sucking the last couple months. I love how when I try to come who it there's a bit of uncertainty if it's even going to load. If They can't run the site properly maybe they should sell it to someone who will. Just my .02

The rice crispy actually turned out ok. The one guy has a really hi tolerance for edibles and said that he did get high after eating the rest. My other buddy got high off a half. I haven't tried them still, too chicken!

I think the problem with watering for me is that Im using different shit for different plants. 2 plants are just getting water, sweet and karma. 1 plant got bloom sweet and karma, 3 plants got different bloom sweet and karma, then the newest 5 plants got grow, sweet and karma. LOL Is everyone following that? Good thing I am. The plus side is I can whip up tiny batches of nutes quickly with my stack of measuring spoons. I can mix a single cup of nutes if need be using the tiny spoons.

My plan for now is to let whatever is in the tent finish and not start anything new. Once completed Ill start 20 beans on 12/12 until they're sexed then top them and stick them in 18/6. Now depending how many females I get will determine how long they're going to veg and what size pots they'll go up to. If by some miracle I got like 20 girls, Id leave them on 12/12 and run it that way. Tentatively Im wanting 8 or less girls in up to 3 gallon containers. Hmmmmm you know this would also be a good opportunity to do a clone run with a pile of different strains from a dispensary. Ugh there I go thinking again.

That a problem I have make too many plans. Be careful getting clones bugs and mold. I had a bad batch, that I had to dunk them. They seem fine now. The problem I have with watering, is over watering, but a moisture gage, sticking my finger in and finally I have used your scale idea to make me not water. Thanks for that idea by the way.. Take care...rw

Yeah I got my first spider mites from a dispensary. It wasn't hard to manage them but I would have preferred to not have them in the first place. That's cool you use the scale method too, it's a great way to not overdo the love! Them 3 plants I mentioned are still lagging on drying out. The 5 I just potted up didn't get a full soak like I mentioned. They only got a half cup each on the transplant.

The problem I have with my possible future plan is that I don't REALLY want to start 12/12 and switch back to veg, I know there will be some wasted time there. But I also don't want to pot up a bunch of potential males and waste money if I went that route. So maybe clones or get some fem seed. That's the beauty of growing though, so many ways to change it up and I can at least say I'm excited again about being uncertain what's next lol

I think that part of the fun of doing this is learning and applying it. Came across a thread were the guys using a parabolic reflector with the bulb point down, The thing about parabolic reflectors is will put the light evenly over whole box, it shaped like an umbrella. The guys in the Uk use them alot. The batwing style Half the light shines and the half reflected with the parabolic one all the light shines down and also is reflected. What do you about that? I value your opinion, because look at stuff a little different then me and can poke holes in my theory, which is important, saves wasted energy and time...rw

Id want the reflector to be as deep as the bulb. Like if you looked directly from the side I wouldn't want the bulb sticking down further. does that make sense. I personally prefer air cooled lights. I'd need a large growing area or super low temps to run an open bulb.

Hey Chaka, That bulb hanging below the reflector makes perfect sense. The guy I been talking to has 600w, he said he has less heat issues with the parabolic, then a air cooled reflector that he has. He said he just blows air across over the top, but not in a tent like yours. I found a parabolic reflector where you can adjust the bulb up and down depending what light spread you want. It's $ 45.00. I will be upgrading a lot of thing now that I know what I want. Thanks for your advice, it was helpful....rw
