SUPER Stealth Grow, what else do i need

So I work in a shop thus I have easy access to tools and I can get wood cut however I want. I'm making a 4' tall, 6 ' wide, 2' deep shelf/bookcase thing, its gonna go in a corner of a room, with the 2 visible sides having shelves on it, a TV and other shit is gonna sit on top. The side though is going to look flat, but when pulled back it will reveal it inside of the box. There will be holes in the back for air venting.

I go to buy the wood tomorrow, and I start getting it cut monday.

Here's what I have

4 36w CFLs (I believe rated "daylight")
2 bulb splitters
one thing that goes on the end of the splitter, with a power plug on the other side
a powerstrip
timer
thermometer hygometer
mylar wrapping paper

So i believe i need

3 3 gallon pots (The plants will have like 3 feet from the top of the pot to the light, should this size pot be enough?)

A reflector (where do I get this? Where do the lights go in? Right now im just plugging the lights into a powerstrip lol)

Scotts potting soil mix

Some computer fans and a power supply

Questions

1. So can I just put the seeds right in the pots without transplanting? That would be less to fuck up, ha.

2. So basically, i'm going to germinate in wet towels, then when they get the tail, put it like a half inch into potting soil and cover. Then this is called the vegetative stage right?
-If the plants have 3' of growing room as mentioned, how big should i let them get in the veg. stage
Then i start flowering, and switch to 12/12

3. Is co2 needed for a first time small grow?

4. I have a job so I might buy more lights, on a <$100 budget, for a growing area of the box i mentioned above, what kind of lights and fixtures would i want to get? HPS? remember I'm a newbie so if you could recommend some lights, a socket or ballast thingy and whatever i would need to hang it i'd appreciate it.

Thank you!

keep the lights low as possible to the plants and top them

just remeber that when you switch to 12/12 the plant will double in size also you'll probally want to get an indica strain

(last question)

for a 2x3x3 you want more of a scrog screen of green instead of a sea of green

use chichen wire or metal shelving to shape around your bud sites ( when you switch to flower they say the smallest you want to flower is 8 inches so you get many colas to branch to the light (aka limited space growing)

1. So can I just put the seeds right in the pots without transplanting? That would be less to fuck up, ha. You could but I like to start in pet pucks of jiffy plugs so you can maintain and make sure the roots get established.

yes you can put your seeds into individual pot once you use the germination method you choose

the veg stage is once you have a plant the stage before you get a plant is called germination c02 isnt need but you can mix a atch of baking sods and vinegar in a pop bottle with holes for them

the lights you have right now would be fine for germination and veg in that small space you dont have much room for mercury vapor mh hps so i would just ag a few mor higher watter brighter spectrum cfls once you decide to flower

happy growing and good luck
