being a complete noobie when it comes to growing, i started reading a lot and peoples opinions etc. Then decided to go ahead and purchase the super locker 2.0.
With not very many reviews out there, almost none for what i want it to do, i decided to go ahead and put this on here to help out any one else whose having problems. or have any questions. or have any advice as i am still fresh in the game
well anyway from weeks 1-8(roughly) i bought a couple clones to get me started. the first mistake i realized here was the locker has two separate areas, the cloning area and the veg/flowering area. when i bought the clones i put them in the cloning area to veg a little longer and then transplanted them into the bottom. but in doing that i fucked up the roots, and so when first starting out just put the clones in the bottom.
It took me a couple tries to get the plants going and went through maybe 3-4 clones before getting the mixture of feed to water right. the Superlocker comes with technaflora recipe for success. which now that i have gotten it down a bit, seems to work really well. i don't have any other comparison other then tons of hours of videos and pictures, and years of smoking and testing the look and feel myself. i have included pictures from my process which is about 3 months from cloning to harvesting. i am not finished yet but will update at the appropriate time.
week 1-3 (roughly) *i say roughly because i don't remember the exact dates and times
this was done in the cloning chamber with a small florescent light on for 24hr. has two small air stones in the reservoir. i started with some Mr Nice Guy, Alien OG, Godfather Kush.
the alien and the god seemed to be doing the best. i couldn't really get nice guy to keep up, eventually tossed it. i then realized i should get them to sprout out under the main light which is 150w.
the alien and god roots started to die off, but then came back. i then bought another mr nice guy and hindu skunk and started growing those in the main Veg chamber with the other 2.
you can see how the skunk looks like its wet and soaking up too much water in comparison to the alien. i didn't quite know how to fix it, and seeing how the other 3 were not having that problem. i ended up tossing it.
i know some strains you need to have more of a stricter regimen, but being as new as i am i didn't go into it to much. just tossed it and kept moving along with the others.
i used a couple different techniques, as you can see the plants are bent over. that tricks the bottom leaves into thinking they are the top, so you can potentialy enduse more bud. i took that mixed with a little topping to get the maximum ammount of bud for the limited space i was using.
WEEKS 4-8 (roughly)
throughout these weeks i ended up narrowing it down to 2 plants. alien and god, they were the strongest through the whole thing. and bent them back to normal and tried a bit of the Sea of green method.
space was very limited and things got hot in there very easily. i had to put another fan inside that was a bit more powerful then the rinky dink one they give you. and being as its hot where i live i have the A/C running at a consistent temp. so Ive gotten control of temp and humidity.
i cut some clones off the two plants and put them in the chamber up top. i had to buy a plastic shield to raise the humidity and spray just regular water all around about twice a day sometimes 3 to keep it moist to endues the roots to grow. and it worked fine.
Im now about 5 weeks into flowering
as you can tell it started to block a lot of light towards the bottom so i did a lot of trimming and to get the air flow nice and even. but i am getting beautiful buds in my opinion.
