In part due to the California Supremes court yesterday that all limits and amounts are unconstitutional, there is no longer a 6 adult plant or 12 immature plants I am deciding to expand my 6 plant closet grow! I recently harvested and just set up a new batch but am going to grow more now that there are no limits...
Right now I have a 9ft tall, 3ft deep, and 7ft long closet. I am vegging with a T5 8bulb and am not flowering. but I have a 1000W HPS for that. In my plan to expand I would put an additional shelf in the closet about 40in off the ground. I would place the T5 in the bottom section for the vegging plants. About 6 ladies at a time with 3 short mothers.
On top of the shelves I would have prob 10 flowering plants in a 5 by 5 rotation like a pond of green. The 1000W would have to be put on a rail. Right now I do not have exhaust but would definately get some. My plan to control the heat is to get a reflector cover and a 6in inline exhaust fan that I would put straight into the attic and point the blower to some vents to the outside.
THX FOR HELP I WILL TRY TO POST DIAGRAMS
My questions are these;
What should I use to seperate the light from two chambers w/o disturbing air flow?
Can I just point the duct work up to these 3 small vents in my attic to outside? With no screens? Do the scrubbers just attach to the ducting out the vent side?
Is it safe to run the exhaust from a 1000W bulb into an already sun baked attic?
Would the exhaust ducting interfere with the rail system?
