Cheers fella's, i was only going to grow 2 plants but think i might go for 3-4 instead, one more question if i coated the grow tent which will be 2ft L x 2ft W x 6ft H in mylar would there be any need to get reflectors for the bulbs and what kind of wattage would i need for 3 or 4 plants?

Im still not sure which lighting to go for veggie stage, i will defo be using a 400w hps bulb for flowering.

Would a 250w cfl with reflector be sufficent for 3-4 plants in a 2ft x 2ft x 6ft tent?

I veg under t5! The large one was done under 1 2ft 2 bulb hydrofarm t5. In my 4x4 tent I have (2) 2ft 2tube and (1) 4ft 4tube hydrofarm set up. I can get bushes under t5's but some say they stretch.

I have around the same set up and i use 175w MH and cfls for veg the 250 hps for flower. I think t5 would be ideal. My previous grow was a t5 and the plants really stretched out. Next time Im going to do MH and t5 combo. and your reflector seems fine, you obviousily arnt going to have monsterous plants but they will be nice I can assure that

Is a 2tube 24w t5 light unit enough for 3-4 plants in veggie stage?
it depends on the size of the plants. i have a 4 foot 6 tube system and i can fit about 5 plants if i'm using 3 gallon pots. if they are in their starter pots i can fit a lot more. basically just set up some pots and see how much room they take up.

My tent will be 2ft x 2ft x 6ft so enough space for 4 plants with pots being 10.5" in diameter and 10" deep or is that too crowded?? and there is enough room for x2 2tube 24w t5 light units, would this be enough for light during veggie?

it's really difficult to say for sure. the dimensions of your tent and the size of the pots seem to be a decent fit, but i'm not sure if the 4 tubes will cover everything after they take off. to really get the most out of a t5 setup you will want to do some training to maximize your canopy, and that training can encourage horizontal growth, for which you will have limited space in that tent. if you are blooming in a separate space i would suggest starting with fewer plants than you think you can fit in your veg tent. then, if it turns out you can fit some more you can just start them later, and have a semi-perpetual going with plants in different stages. if you start off with too many and have to cut the veg time short you'll be pretty disappointed.

I use T5's and they are awesome for seedlings and vegging. You'll really want to use HPS for flowering though.

Thank you for your inputs fella's.

Ok seeing as 2ft is a tight squeeze for 4 plants ill be making the tent 3ft x 3ft with a height of 89 inch with the whole inside coated in mylar, so wouldnt i be better off buying 1 400w mh light unit instead of 2-3 t5 units? What do you think?
