it's just yet another counterexample that works against your theory of economics.

you don't have a single real life example to back up your economic theory. just theory. that is all.

go cry.
Your example is based on everyone working at mcdonalds in oz makes $15 per hour....which is the only theory I am seeing here.

echelon.......you eat Micky dees in OZ ever? Mostly teenagers working there here....anyone want to venture a guess as to where I'm going with this?
There are like 3 of them within 10kms of my house. All staffed with teenagers. It's summer here and their frozen sprites are awesome, their cooked "food" not so much

rationalize all you want.

you guys were screaming about the website with nary a single data breach...and then went silent when 40 million customers got hacked on the private market.

hypocrisy.
I still havent figured out why I was required to comment on it.

I dont shop at target... I dont own a target credit card... I was not subject to the breach... Even if I was, I have lifelock and that shit is awesome!!

wanna take a look at new zealand instead?

after exchange rate, they pay 125% of what we do yet their big macs cost 98% of what ours do.

i can keep going, just let me know how much empirical evidence is enough for you, if any amount will suffice at all.

i'm guessing you'll stick to your failed theories no matter what the evidence dictates, that is a righty's prerogative.

you're not required to comment on anything, but consistency would dictate some manner of mention.

National minimum wage for adults

Currently the full-time minimum wage is $16.37 per hour or $622.20 per week. This means that most employees in the national system shouldn't get less than this.
Casuals covered by the national minimum wage get an extra 24% ($20.30 per hour).
National minimum wages for apprentices, juniors & trainees

There are special national minimum wages for trainees, apprentices and juniors who don’t have an award or agreement. From 1 July 2013 these are:

What will out Uncle's think of this tidbit?
i think it's anecdotal evidence and sketchy etchy probably ain't asking anyone their age.

you still have ZERO actual data here.

i knew you would try to bank on this anecdotal evidence though, because you are a desperate little susan.

same topic: min wage is higher, often much higher, yet prices do not follow.

i could also cite the 41% uptick in min wage here in the US from 2006-2009, which was accompanied by a mere 15% increase in costs.

hell, we can go right down the BLS list for bananas, coffee, eggs, milk, or whatever else you want for the last 20-30 years.

min wage goes way way up, prices do not follow.

i have ALL the empirical evidence on my side, and you have ZERO. just theory.

go cry.
