Teabaggers Least Popular Political Group In The United States (NY Times Article)

Our analysis casts doubt on the Tea Party’s “origin story.” Early on, Tea Partiers were often described as nonpartisan political neophytes. Actually, the Tea Party’s supporters today were highly partisan Republicans long before the Tea Party was born, and were more likely than others to have contacted government officials. In fact, past Republican affiliation is the single strongest predictor of Tea Party support today.

Next to being a Republican,
the strongest predictor of being a Tea Party supporter today was a desire, back in 2006, to see religion play a prominent role in politics.
When you quote something use quotation marks.

Yes I read it I just happen to disagree with you and the writers analysis of the tea party. Who did he sample it says 3000 people but who are they? You can make statistics say anything you want. After all your results are only as good as your sample.

We're indebted to China and many others not just ourselves.

You assume to much my commy friend. I know what happened to social security and the recent argument about the debt ceiling wasn't about repaying Americans it was about preventing the government from stealing from our children. So you just basically admitting big government doesn't work because politicians can't be trusted.

You can call me stupid and ignorant all you want but that doesn't change the fact that you don't understand economics or human nature.
Here is a link to an Alex Jones (Prison Planet) article titled, "Stealing From Social Security To Pay For Wars And Bailouts." He's on "your team" maybe if it comes from a Christian Libertarian you'll allow some knowledge past the .01 micron truth filter you've built up from years of drinking the government kool aid. http://www.infowars.com/stealing-from-social-security-to-pay-for-wars-and-bailouts/
Obama and his socialist pals are ruining this country. When you give away "free" stuff, someone still has to pay for it. The socialist brain only sees one thing...."gimme, gimme, and more gimme".
Wars of aggression cost way more than health care (that hasn't even been given to anybody yet). Somebody has to pay for these wars, too. In the case of Bush's war, it was everyone who has paid into Social Security. The conservative brain only understands two things; greed and ignorance.

Well hell maybe I should be more of a loser like you. I turn 60 next week about time I quit depending on myself and live like you. Think I'll go down and apply for welfare, foodstamps, government HC, government education, government loans. Hell just think I might get as stupid as you are.
60 next week? Happy Birthday! Now, please die. Everything you stand for just needs to die off. Your way of thinking is what has got us into this mess.

its like watch/listening to a cult ...
in the US you know fuck all about outside your own borders...
I know. Isn't it a crying ass shame? The rest of the world knows we are mostly ignorant fools yet we have never had more of a false sense of confidence and self esteem.

No, I was referring to the fact that the Tea Party is no longer the Ron Paul crowd as it originated. Ron Paul isn't even mentioned in the article. Bachmann and Perry are. The point of the article is since the Tea Party was hi-jacked by Religious White Bush supporters the perception of the Tea Party has plummeted.

This article isn't about RP or his supporters. It's about the Party being taken over by irresponsible religious fanatics and thus ending the Party as it was. I keep telling you RP people, you're biggest problem is within your own Party.
Thank you for actually reading the article.

everyone knows that social security has been "dipped" into since the late 70s, where you are wrong is in claiming that we only owe money to ourselves or even that that is the majority of our debt or even calculated into our national debt, and if you want to threaten our elders, you can come out to the palouse and find out how protective we are of our parents and grand parents,

as for cult, what else would you call the personality cult of obama,

and as for the religious fanatics trying to steal the tea party votes, your doing yourself more a disservice by spreading your hateful propaghanda than you are helping.

The poll and the article are just one of thousands of patently false attacks on the Tea Party. It's been going on for years and reality has nothing to do with it. The fact the poll is a NY Times/CBS concoction is all you need to know. We might as well be discussing a poll put forth by Palestinians, taken by Palestinians about the popularity of Israelis.

The fact is, the Tea Party couldn't give a flying shit about their popularity, they ain't running for office. The problem for you is, you blew your load and discredited yourself when the Progressive Media machine went all racist up in here. Too many people know too many Tea Party members and we KNOW they're not racist. The Cloward Piven attack strategy won't work any more. You're actually going to be forced to expose your agenda and watch as the people of this country soundly reject it in 2012.

I hope my spelling and punctuation are correct, otherwise it will be dismissed by the guy whose own grammar and spelling is atrocious.

Dolt.

So, last time I was in Bangkok, last december. Im sitting in the hotel watching AlJazeer talking about how the United States was collapsing because its entire Midwest infrastructure was being destroyed by tornados floods and King Kong. If you take your major news outlets seriously you have obviously never seen the world
