Kenneth McDonald, was among two teenagers honored Thursday for their roles in breaking up another student's attack on a Kalamazoo Public Schools substitute bus driver this week.

Kenneth and an 18-year-old man from Parchment, who asked not to be identified, pulled a 16-year-old Kalamazoo boy off a Kalamazoo Public Schools bus driver after he had repeatedly punched the bus driver Tuesday.

"Too many times we hear of situations in which the bystanders don't become involved, either for fear or retribution," Probate Judge Curtis Bell told the teenagers at the Kalamazoo County Circuit Court's Family Division. "But in this case, you both saw something that was absolutely atrocious. You stepped in and did the right thing."

ghettos are full of fuckin assholes like that
but i have to admit there are occasional few REAL hustlers who are intelligent and have manners that are just trying to get through the day
but its hard when your neighborHOOD is filled with ignorant retards such as the homo in the video
I think your comments seem to make you seem ignorant as well. By calling this kid a "homo" you really are showing your own true ignorance. And just a comment on the kid, while yes what he did was atrocious and disgusting it is quite easily to "throw him under the bus" (sorry, that was lame). What I see here is a really angry, lost kid who does not need more anger and ignorance. I don't want anyone to get it twisted and think I'm justifying what this kid did, its horrific, but I think we should wait to pass judgment. Just my two cents.

first off you think wrong , i wasnt showing my ignorance at all. and me calling the fuckin kid a homo was polite compared to what he really is. u are too focused on sounding so intelligent like ur a psychologist or someshit rather than the fact that that piece of shit kid deserves to be called all of the curse words in the fucking dictionary for what he did to someones mother and/or grandmother

think man , THINK

You are absolutely right if that was my mother I would be the very first saying the same things as you guys! I would love to beat his ass. But I'd like to think collectively as a society we can evaluate the situation more clearly then the individual who has lost the ability to think as such. Now I'm sorry if I am coming off as a guy that thinks he's so smart or whatever. I really believe that I am of pretty average intelligence but I just thought I would kick my two cents in. Oh and the comment I made about being ignorant was your usage of the word "homo". I feel using that word in that way is pretty ignorant.

Oh yea and I don't want people think I want this kid to walk away from this, but I hope he is severely punished and rehabilitated. He is still a kid who made a terrible, disgusting mistake. He is probably the worst of what human kind has to offer but I feel that we as a society should not turn ourselves from this kid. He really needs our help. And I think it's terrible to accuse a whole section of society as "ghetto" and terrible. Please wonder what you would be like if you were forced to live in the shoes of one of these "ghetto" kids.

Maybe I'm just some liberal love and peace douche bag, yea I probably am! lol!

yeah hes 16 exactly my point by that age
teenagers should have logic
and , waving ur hands and accidentally hitting some one in the face is a mistake
beating the shit out of an elderly lady is a CHOICE

fuck that fucking kid i wish the worst for him
scumbag deserves to be curbed ,
(i know im probobly going to get a lot of shit for saying this but)
the more of kids like him die the less of their bullshit us normal civilized people have to deal with
the hell with rehabilitation if he was born a bad person he should die a bad person
why should we risk our loved ones lives because these scumbags are being born?

People these days don't have any moral values it seems. punk kids like that need a beating and i'm not talking parental spanking either no they need a dose of their own violence and that kid will probably get it where he's going. what the hell has happened to make kids so cruel? thank God my parents instilled common sense and values in me even if it was at the end of a belt sometimes. theres a few people in this world i can't stand but i would never think about harming one of them.:peace:

No fuck this kid and fuck everyone from the ghetto, they're the scum of the earth. We should just get rid of their gene pool before they cause more damage to society.

I never spent serious time in the ghetto, but a lot of my friends did. It has nothing to do with where you live, but how you were raised. We learned from our parents. We were taught respect and dignity, self-worth and kindness. There are times when you must be hard, and there are times to be kind and generous.

I am from today's generation. I see what's happening, and it makes me very, very sad. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach their children how to act. Teach your children by example. Be kind, be respectful. Half of society's problems would be solved.

seriously though, this stuff makes me cry to think that societies all over the world have minorities who act in this way and every year this seems to get worse and worse. I hate to think what the world in 20 or 30 years will be like but i hope to hell it gets better for the sake of the next generation as well as this one
