Tent Growing?

Downgrading from a 3.5 K watt grow to just a tent, moved into a new house. Curious if any good threads out there devoted to tent growing.

I believe my tent is 3X5, I can throw in my 600 watter in there. Just trying to figure out how to approach tent growing.

I figure a SOG method would work well, pop about 20-25 under the 600 watter.. with a little flood and drain. Veg for a week or so and then flower 'em away. Anyhow, any help advice is appreciated.

What type of yields do you guys get off a 600 watter in a tent? I'd be pumped with a consistent 5 ounces or so every 8-9 weeks. Also looking into strains that can finish in 6-7 weeks so I can pump as many out as possible a year.

well i think its pretty much the same as growing in a room, just less space, i use a 4x4 tent and can fit 4 big plants or up to 20 small plants... using a 600w id suggest growing 10-15 normal plants, nd ull get 2 oz a plant if done properly. Be sure to have an extractor pulling air out of it and a source of intake if possible

I will definitely have an extractor... as for intake, I could drill a hole in the ceiling and use my 6 inch Vortex to pull air in. As for 10-15 normal sized plants yielding 2 ounces a piece, doesn't that seem a bit high? I was pulling 1.5-2 ounce plants in my room but they were 4 feet tall, probably not going to work in a tent especially if I want a tray so I can auto water. Maybe putting them on the ground and just watering by hand would be better though.

I just felt like 15-20 small ones would be better so I can cut the veg from like 2-3 weeks down to a single week. Get a 7 week flowering plant... flower for a week and you can get 6.5 harvests a year.

Compared to more like two-three weeks veg.....7 week flower = 5 a year.

Miss out on an entire harvest doing the method you describe though I agree the yields would be better. Tough call I guess
