Anyone know the name of the dispensary(s) that does testing in Ann Arbor? Has anyone used any of these places, and if so what type of equipment do they use and what is the price per test? Any membership required to get tests done?

ArborSide is the one I'm going to try out for my next run of plants,want to test for CBD levels. Called and talked to them a couple weeks ago. There's a $12 membership fee but it will go towards your first test. They use QuantaCann test equipment that only takes like 2 minutes for the test and you can have your sample back or donate it. It's $25 a test but on Fridays they have a two for one special so $25 for two tests. It's just a strength test for the different cannabinoids not mold and pesticides which is all I'm looking for.
 
ya not a trusted testing facility anymore, liars and bullshitters in all actuality. pay the few extra bucks for real results from a real testing lab.
 
iron labs.

ill be having them test the valentineX and my prized strain straw cream as soon as my next crop is done (7 weeks). might have them test my 2 other strains as well.

If you have some info people should know just say it,not trusted by who,you or somebody else,what's the story,could you be any more vague.
 
Don't you know you could take 5 samples of the same exact bud
to 5 different testing labs and you will get 5 different results?

In other words test labs are no good for anything and a total waste
of time and money and will get you nowhere imo.

Testing is too vague at best imo.
 
Well I know that chromatography and liquid spectrography has been the two methods of finding cannabinoid compounds both for their presence and respective amounts. I agree that every facility has either one or the other in which case yes, you would end up with different results. I think the argument is which one is a more precise way of measuring and who uses it.

Looks like QuantaCann doesn't use either...

QuantaCann is a laboratory-grade cannabis testing unit, installed onsite at the collective or production level, that utilizes Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) to analyze cannabis flowers and granular water hash by taking a spectral scan of each sample. Each sample’s spectral data is sent to Steep Hill Halent’s in-house servers using an encrypted connection. We then calculate the THC-A, THC (pre and post-decarboxylate values), CBD, and moisture in the sample by comparing it against our database of thousands of Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography tested samples. Each scan takes just 60 seconds

I read all that as well Huel, I'm guessing no matter what way testing is done the material would have to cooked in order to get full potential but also tested before cooking the sample as well. Maybe Iron's owner would chime in here?? He seemed to only have posted twice and left.

Actually they don't heat/decarboxylate the samples, they test for cannabinoid acids and then use an equation to determine what they should decarboxylate at....
