bigger and denser or just denser? mine so far have not gotten particularly bigger than the 600 but the 600 is closer and may be getting more intense light to the canopy than the 1k

loving the way the frost is really picking up steam now on most of mine... one of my timewrecks i didn't get cuts off of has some nice resin rails forming and is frostier than the first time around... may have to take some flower cuts off her just in case.... the biggest ace buds are nearing cola can size at 34 days :)

yeah i'm gonna try and see how long i can resist chopping those two older girls... she is already falling over though the only reason she stands up still is because she's leaning on the younger flower girls around her lol

I wanna go to 3-2 hps-mh,The Mh really stacks the trics,Just to much heat for my setup in the damn summer.
Right at 40bucks a light now 12/12,Then the 24k btu 2 ton a/c unit,4 wall fans.

Right at 200bucks just for Flowering station a month.
400s for veggin,So im pushing close to the limit on electrical consumption,For my 2500sqft home.

My pops use to be the City electrical inspector,He said im good now but dont add anything else thats gonna raise the bill.
Ive already changed the heaters over to Gas,I have 2 A/C Systems.
Hot water is electric,as is the clothes dryer, come winter there going to be chaged to Gas as'well.

I freaked when I saw the Amperage the Hot water pulls,It has 2 elements.
And if I remember Rt its 4kw,Thats like running 4 1ks when its heating water!!

Thinking of looking into some Solar panels.

It's all about running what you have optimally IMO and IME. I generally run a 600 W HPS these days, but have run everything from CFLs to 1000s. One of my favorite set ups used a series of 150 W HPS in a skinny cab, a very mini SOG. It was like a little wind tunnel. very easy to run little clones in and still pull a gram per watt.

There are many ways to skin this cat. I just scaled back to a 360 Watt HPS conversion in a 400w mh ballast as I'll be taking a trip in late August to the north, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan and pulling the plug for a bit.

good luck goodro :P

As the hobby has become more important to me i've stalled on finding a new "mate". I think (hope and pray) we are on the cusp of a new age on attitudes about our plant... even in Texas. I'd love to have a partner/gardener but need to find a good match secrecy wise. Ironic that the ideal woman would be the one that never let me know LOL.

A buddy just told me about his trip to San Diego where he saw hundreds of backyard grows. I hope I live to grow in a political climate like that. Boutique style /napa valley-esque weed farms would work well in the hill counrtry. Bastrop used to be known for great weed... I dream of resurrecting "Bastop Pine" and I don't mean lob-lollies.

Those seeds in the bottom of that bag weed might be the next haze staring back atcha. :)

Do not be afraid,
UB
VERY tru! Im using bagseed ive collected over the yrs, I put in a variety of diff beans last time. Got a sativa dom, 3 indica dom and a haze that I stressed til hermie. But, i let the haze pollinate ALL the others(wont do that again without better control over it) so i have alot of beans to experiment with. Now if i can figure out best way to train sativa ill be cookin with gas.
Just wanted to give my 2cents on it, never know what u might get.
Uncle Ben, if u pass by again can u get hold of me with ideas on sativa training? Since thats what u work with. Would be super awesome! Dam, now i feel like a teen girl! lol
