So these pics first are of #1. She's gorgeous and ahead of the others, the one that had the least nanners. Her buds even in the lower branches are growing fairly big, I got those small cfl's for the bottom branches and seem to be working just fine. She's frosty and smells rather sweet.

This is #2. She's the one that fell over the other day. She's making me proud honestly. She's a close second to #1. I had found a couple more nanners on #2 than #1. She's very leggy that some of her branches just drop, so I used tha tvelcro to put up those branches and they're getting tons of light than before. the 2nd lower half are a bit higher, just used the bamboo stick as leverage for those branches and they're actually getting lots of light, I think that 3rd photo is of a bud in one of the bottom branches, got a cfl for that one too.

DSC00340.jpgDSC00341.jpgDSC00343.jpgDSC00344.jpgDSC00345.jpgDSC00347.jpgDSC00348.jpgDSC00349.jpg

#3... I'm scared for this one tbh. I found quite a couple dozen of nanners on this one, this one is the most leggy, but its stronger than the others when it comes to gravity. I'm scared because its barely producing any bud on the bottom, I'd say about 2/3's of the bud is so thin and shallow-looking, the other's definitely don't look like this, it also has a fox-tailing sort of growth, which I don't mind, but like it said, it looks so shallow, it looks like its only getting dense at the top, which look great compared the shitty bottom. I really don't know if she'll be worth keeping if the nanners keep coming back at the rate it is, even if harvest is in a month. I just worry for the safety of the other girls. I also have 2 other autoflowers flowering but have not taken pics, maybe later if they don't end up looking like shit. Happy growing everyone. Please comments and advice and whatever it is you guys wanna say SAY IT, thanks :)

Hey macto for a first time they look great. This is my take for what it's worth. #1 looks like she needs a fan on her...strange to hear I'm sure, but she looks like she needs to breath, could be root problems too. NOT BAD, just what I'd do for her. They all look like they need fresh air in fact.

#3 has beans... I'm a sativa guy and she looks fine to me.

On the next run I would show WAY less mercy to the lower parts of the plant and at least 1/3 of that stuff would be stripped away. That really helps with air flow too. Aim for an even "canopy" the optimum distance from your bulb... different people have VERY different ideas this. Most say as close as you can without burning. More holistic/mystical people like dj short say you loose the best terpenes that way.

If I happened to get an inline fan setup, would it be too late for the buds to help affect growth? Just wondering :) I'm definitely getting one next grow, I knew air was important, but I didn't really have the money to.

I'm using one of those old school super huge powered fans that blow shit away from 10ft. I noticed today a couple of buds actually packed on weight, I hope the rest follow >_<

Wind that's too strong will fuck your plants up... I got a fan I bought for my room that was just too strong took it out but not after it stressed out my bitches in flower :(

If u could make a hole in the ceiling or floor the inline fan could be used to pull heat from grow area excessive heat will cause problems

What part you in budoctor? I have a guy in houston who doesn't even want any at the moment because the houston market is apparently so flooded with outdoor harvest bud still.

I have a question!!! My room is about 540 CFM, and I'm getting this cheap 8inch inline fan 720 CFM, does it matter the size of the carbon filter? As in, what's the minimal cfm carbon filter I can get? Trying to be cheap here :)

That's not what I meant.. I've read everywhere there's a certain ratio of passive intake to exhaust, and about how you want 'negative pressure' and being able to move air ever minute or so, so what size carbon filter would I need for a 720 cfm inline fan? I mean, I've read some up on some threads on people that don't even use their whole grow room, so they don't go by their whole room but just the grow space they're using, and calculate the heat emitting from their bulbs and room temps/outside temps. I just really want this inline fan it's so cheap I can't pass up on it!!!!

Anyone in N.Tex using Ron's Organics? Pretty good stuff, I've been using it on my current grow, just want to see if anyone else has any experience with his products?

[h=1]Perry defends states’ right to legalize marijuana[/h]By WILL WEISSERT, Associated Press

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Gov. Rick Perry defended Colorado and Washington’s legalization of marijuana on Thursday, saying it was an issue of state rights, while touting initiatives in Texas as national models for keeping minor drug offenders out of jail.
Perry’s comments during the World Economic Forum in Switzerland echoed his past comments on drug policy, but they caused a bit of a stir because of how publicly the Republican endorsed lesser punishments for non-violent drug offenders.
His spokesman, Lucy Nashed, said the governor was promoting Texas drug courts, which offer treatment instead of jail time for non-violent offenders. But she sidestepped questions about whether Perry supported decriminalizing marijuana in Texas — where having or selling small amounts are misdemeanors — saying only that drug courts have worked in Texas and should be an example to other states and countries.
“He’s very much for rehabbing and a diversionary program (rather) than sending people directly to jail, and I think he’s been pretty clear about that during his time as governor,” Nashed said. “This is for non-violent offenders and, for a lot of circumstances, it’s the right policy.”
Nashed didn’t have video of Perry making the comments, which according to U.S. News and World Report came during a panel discussion on drug policy that also included former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.
But the governor did say that he couldn’t see Texas legalizing pot any time soon.
“We certainly would never jump out in front of the parade,” Perry said, according to the news magazine.
A staunch defender of states’ rights, Perry has often advocated for states setting their own policy on a number of potentially thorny issues — and has sometimes gotten himself into trouble in conservative circles for doing so. The governor has long said that it was fine for each state to set its own same-sex marriage policy — but while running for president in 2011, he clarified that he personally opposes it.
Possession of less than four ounces of marijuana is a misdemeanor in Texas, as is selling less than seven grams of it.
Many urban counties, meanwhile, only issue a ticket for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana without making arrests. Prosecutors often use drug courts to divert people out of the criminal justice system, where a conviction can lead to long-term unemployment and greater drug abuse.
Texas has been at the forefront of diverting people convicted of non-violent drug offenses into treatment programs rather than jail. Even an influential conservative Austin think-tank, the Texas Public Policy Foundation, has a 3-year-old “Right on Crime” initiative to decrease the number of criminal laws across the country and reduce the number of non-violent criminals in prisons.
