hey whats going on Texans? I'm new to this rollitup thing. I'm from SA and looking to network with some ppl in my area. I just recently started growing again. Just got done with a 3 year stench in the Army, so I'm looking to get back into it. I just started growing indoors, I'm trying bubblelicious and super silver haze.

apparently the dude that owned overgrow.com also owned a seedbank and other marijuana internet resources. he got busted for trafficking marijuana seeds.
i found that just by googling "overgrow.com" that high times article was the first link, top of the list, also found a repost of overgrow.com's GrowFAQ (reposted on stonerforums.com) and i have to say the overgrow GrowFAQ is light years ahead of the RIU GrowFAQ

i used peat plugs in my GenHydro WaterFarm and they worked awesome! they were these weird 2 1/2" - 4" long plugs plrobably 1/2" square at the top where the seed went and tapered down to the bottom. anyhow.. they did AWESOME! WaterFarm used a drip ring up top (pushed by air displacement) and i added air stone to the res for the roots. worked great. peat/jiffy work AWESOME in hydro systems. hell, GenHydro SELLS Rapid Rooters from their website!!! clearly, THEY endorse them... (fyi this wasnt a GH endorsement lol)
to each their own, just know tom is right. i understand you have a personal preference. but to say that peat ("dirt"? WAY off) would not work in a hydro system, is false!

r u saying if i water from top with rez full and airstone installed , the soil from the peat plug would not get n the tank?

haha yeah that's what Tom said too. without a doubt in mind. there will be NO issue with peat plugs in your system. just look at the stealth hydro systems. all theirs are picture with some sort of peat plug or rapid rooter sitting in hydroton. stealth hydro is drip/DWC which is what you have. that's how they do it, that's how everyone (could) do it.

i just check stealth hydro dwc, bubbleponics, all come with rockwool. the aeroponics comes with coco . its really not a big deal i use rockwool i just had 100%germination on 4 super skunk.
