cool idea , but can I sign it Raider Man.
It'll be about as effective... i applaud the activism but a change.org petition to rick perry has about 0% chance of success and about a 50% chance of getting your name on a list to be investigated if you put your real info... the movement here needs to put all its efforts into working on changing the mind of the next governor, who will likely be Greg Abbott (or supporting his opposition in their futile attempt to take back the state). Last I read he was not pro-mj.

Wendy Davis...
I don't see any reason why she would get more votes than the last democrat candidate. Texas is bleakly conservative. I also don't think just doing a filibuster gives you credentials to be governor, either. I understand why people are saying her name though... it doesn't change the politics of the state. Greg Abbott has a statewide organization already in place and is locked and loaded for this. Not saying it's impossible, but it'd be a miracle. The last democrat to win the governorship held a statewide office. Wendy Davis may be an Ann Richards someday, but she is not yet today. I met the governor in person after she left office and had the fortunate chance to thank her for her service before she passed. It's too bad she couldn't have been openly for marijuana -- there was a political scandal about her smoking marijuana that she denied. One of my teachers in high school told me she knew for a fact it was true because she saw it they used to work at the same place -- but she was a big liberal she wasn't telling anyone nor did she care :) This is the same teacher that showed us authentic photos of mussolinis corpse including gratuitous dong shot (homeboy was PACKIN) and MARILYN MONROE'S BUSH!!! Badass teacher, ugly, ugly fat woman though.

^^^ Yeah, I'm old ;)

Yeah, it's not likely.
. It's pretty much wrapped up for Greg Abbott.

I was looking to leave TX for a state that I could jump in full time with this hobby. I checked out CO, OR and WA. WA was not bad, but it is no TX. I'm waiting it out in TX.

Probably beech :)

Yeah I'm looking to move to one of those places too... none of'em are texas :) lately i've been having second thoughts but it's just such a risk here in texas... one person fucks up, fingers you and you're done. You know what they say about being a grower it's not a question of if but when it'll happen... i am not trying to spend time in a texas state prison - fuck that. It's looking like oregon or cali at the moment... WA and CO are fuckin' up their legalization and starting to go after the med people.

When it's legal everywhere else (and the Gov sees the $$) it'll become legal here. It's 20/50 (2/5) and counting. The last 15 of those 20 very recently... it's coming. If you don't believe things can change, well, the FUCKING PITCH DROPPED!!! :eyesmoke:
