This was from 2022, plants on the left in the top 2 pics are MBK along with the bottom 2. Probably going to put a small one out this year.
This last winter I was given a nug of some supposed ATF. I found a seed and normally don't care for bag seeds. I did always want to try ATF though and figured lets give it a try. Damn was I impressed. It has that old school skunk smell that hit me with a wave of nostalgia from over 20 years ago. I have not had it tested but it sure gets me high. Going to try that and Jillybean outdoors this year. Kinda nice these days not having to worry about leos nor seeing resources wasted on helicocksuckers flying treetop low anymore.

I think it’s the end of day 45 for the PlushBerry and the end of day 23 for the Garlic Bud, this morning. No question over the past few days the PB has been moving along/ripening up quicker. I haven’t experienced any negative effects from using 6 hrs on/18 off. Everything is just a little quicker. + saving money on electricity. No way am I going back to 12/12 or the 18/6 veg. An absolute waste of electricity. Im not talking out my ass either, I’m seeing the results. Plants are growing faster and better than ever before. I dare you to try it and not listen to the cannabis celebrities, wake up, fellas! And that’s all I got to say about that.

I like what I’ve seen so far with a shorter light cycle in your plants, and I’ve been mentally taking notes since around when I first saw you mention trying it out haha so maybe I’ll try it out on some plants later on this year myself.

Update on the new 12/1 veg cycle with the Garlic Buds. Thriving in veg under 13 hrs of light, day 30 of veg. They’re almost up to my waist, not topped, and growing FAST! Many of the side branches are almost as tall as the terminal branch. They look like they’ve been vegging under the summer sun. Planning on putting them into bud on day 35 of veg. Plus, I figured it out, with the new veg cycle, I’m saving 155 hours per month in electricity usage and saving 155 hours of bulb life per month, compared to 18/6. I’m sold.

Bro, stop taking mental notes…..just do it lol. Once you go to 12/1 in veg, you’ll never go back. Give it a fair shake

Hey Mason. Can you give me you new lighting schedule?
This lighting scheduled is from Joe Pietri, not me. Search him on YouTube.
Veg. 12 hours on
5 1/2 hours off
1 hour on
5 1/2 hours off
Repeat
The 1 hour light on in the middle of the night doesn’t allow the plant to go into bud and tricks the plant into having 2 nights rest. The veg plants grow faster and more bushy. I’ve seen this with my own eyes. When you use 18 hrs in veg, you’re using 2 suns to grow a plant inside that uses 1 sun outdoors when it’s vegging. No such thing as cannabis botany…..there’s only botany.
Bud is 6 on/18 off. More hours of light don’t equal bigger buds, it’s the opposite! I was brain washed too, listening to people like Jorge Cervantes.

In the YouTube vid I attached in the above post, go to 52:50 where he talks about the lighting schedule. He’s NOT full of shit and I don’t care what anyone thinks. And that’s all I got to say about that.

How much stretch are you getting once you flip? Do I need to get to size before flipping?
I'm running the light schedule and the girls seem more relaxed. Thanx for the info!

A little less stretch with the light cycle. I would just grow them up to your normal height then flip to 6/18. 12/1 veg really made them bushy. The PlushBerry ripened up fast, things moving along a little quicker. That PlushBerry was more than ripe, in fact she got cut down on day 49. Probably the best she ever looked for me.

The day after I harvested the PB, I had to tear my rooms down and ‘clean up’. Had an unexpected home issue and it needed to be fixed asap. The Garlic Buds are in a safe place but not in the best environment. Issue is fixed and rebuilding the rooms is in process now. So maybe 4 or 5 days of no 6/18. Shit happens unfortunately. I got a lot of work to do…,to be continued.

500 pages is alot to look through would you have a pic from late flower or harvest? I've often thought similar since I started growing outdoor and you never get 18 hours of light outside...thanks just curious how big of a difference it made for you

Nvm I'm a stoned asshole hahaa I see it all now...I'm intrigued by this for sure would allow me to run a couple tents (I have limited electrical circuits) as long as I properly block them and alternate the power usage...cheers

So….between the small chicken feathers, dust from the ground floor and bits of straw on the buds, those garlic buds I decided to kill them and just start over. They were hid for a bit longer than I wanted and suffered.

Either way, I got new cuts of all my plants/phenos,8, rooted from outdoor veg. And yes, I’m still using the 12/1 veg cycle.

Wicked!
All about the baby poo!!!
There’s one pack left on genetic supply, I’m extremely tempted but have two orders on route already, I’ll see if I can resist…
If there were anymore Vortex, they’re gone now. I thought genetic supply sold out of them a long time ago. If I wasn’t growing Vortex, it would be Grape Inferno. Unfortunately, the Grape Inferno seeds must be old, I couldn’t get even one to germ.
