TGA Subcool Vortex / TH Seeds A-train gro

I remember a few phenos being fussy with my nutes. I had to do an emergency flush on a few. After that they were fine. I remember those ones had to go an extra week and a half tho. They started turnin maroon about 3-4 weeks in. It was, is, in my top 3 fave smokes. Ive done bout 70+ strains so that say alot. Make a journal We can follow. Good luck, smoke well..

Are you talking about Jillybean or Vortex?

Yea I've noticed my Jillybean taking up the nutes, but man does she show she's abused!

She looks dank as hell but her leaves are just crapping out.

I'll definitely hold back on the nutage these next couple feedings.

Id stop all in all with the nutes. Ive learned not to give them any until she asks. Then i Might give her a little. I wont give if she dont ask. Nothin worse than crunchy leaves while trimmin.

happy new year!

well since the last time i posted my fan did a faceplant not left, not right, not backwards, but straight into the big a-train and the vortex. no pictures of that but fortunately it only broke and bent a few side stems and leaves. A day later they were fine and filling back in. i now have my oscillating fan bolted to an old wooden bar stool.

the LED panel sure does a job on my camera's white balance.

pic 1 is the vortex. those leaves sure look thin and sativa-like.
pic2 vortex
pic3 is all three plants
pic4 is a side view of the vortex
pic5 is the a-train i did not bend. it's a robust plant for sure but the side buds can't really get around the big fan leaves. i'm not sure if i should get the cutters out and remove some veg growth or just leave it alone.

Hey nice grow. I've grown Jillybean, Chernobyl, and Vortex. They were all great but Vortex is my favorite. Jillybean has a creamy orange custard taste and smell. Chernobyl was super sour grapefruit with a hint of haze. But Vortex tastes and smells like pure hash. I had three females of Vortex and the #2 pheno might be the most potent plant I have ever grown. The reason I decided to try Vortex is because I noticed sub labelled it with "Sub's Pick" in his strain description thread. I can see why he did that. I think you will be most pleased.

thank you! i'm really psyched about my one vortex. and if it smells and tastes like hash i'll be totally happy.

Looking good dude, you have another stalker.

ps, love the avatar

thanks!

got my new reflector today. i love it. much better footprint than the smaller one and it stays nice and cool. the glass isn't even hot to the touch with the fan hooked up.

Do you remember how tall your Vortex was when you flipped. How long has it been in flower and how tall is it now. Looks like yours are a few days ahead of mine. My tall, stretchy Vortex pheno was 10" when put into the budroom and is now 31" and today is day 15 :) And thats under a 1k light! The others are at 20". Your Vortex looks just like my tall pheno!! Might very well be the Cindy-99 pheno that Mared said was absolutley insane.
