Dude this shit just inspired me to do a 20 plant solo cup filled flood table, the exact same setup you have a DIY ebb and flow , Is this your first time using the cups? I was wondering about yield, or any issues you've had with using smaller pots in your setup
I have been using this same table for over two years.
I have used smaller volume cups (10 oz) before and I can tell you that the size of the cup is not critical really.
The plants get everything they need regardless of being constrained (in this comp) by the roots staying IN the cup.
Outside of this comp I just let the roots go crazy outside of the containers and have actually had, at harvest, a mat of roots at least 2.5 inches thick filling the entire tub. The container really only acts as an anchor for the plant.

I had three plants of some wicked genetics (Colorado genetics) produce over three pounds of product last fall. After drying and curing I had 1.75 pounds of bud and almost 2 pounds of frosty trim that made some bad ass hash that I still smoke almost a year later.

I use A51 led lights and GenHydro 3 part nutes. Timer on lights is dependent on cycle but the table gets flooded every 2-3 hours including once before lights on and once after lights off.
Technique is key, pay attention to the plants and give them what they want as far as timers go.

BTW, I do not PPM or PH, never have.
I use the table on the back of the nute bottle and mix my shit 5 gallons at a time.
I only clean the res after harvest and I do not flush but I do scale back the nutes to half strength a couple of weeks before I harvest.

[cupdate]

My scale took a crap on me so I'm using GH Flora bloom, micro, with Si shield for the time being. Added a shelving system and a drip pan, the whole assembly is rock solid now.

The spreadsheets will be posted tomorrow morning.

She's actually doing better than the pics indicate. A bit of love and nutes should having her looking swell in a few days. Of the 2 other Afganis - I re-potted the one female and one male. But the male looks so freaking scraggly that I prob won't use the pollen

Afganis #2 ZoBudd's official entrant!!!

Friday Cupdate. The two younger girls showed sex and have been up potted. Here is my entry. It was among the first to sprout in this competition but have been surpassed by many larger, younger plants. To everyone with a larger plant than mine i hope you have pets and they develop a taste for your entries, :P

Hey @bicit are those watering devices hydrospikes or blumats? And how are they working

Had to add a pic of the hippy wall hanging that covers the flower closet

I recently finished a run with the regular blumats in my tent, used a reservoir for a gravity feed setup and start to finish my plants never looked under or over watered. Easy to setup and dial in, I think they work great. Next outdoor season I'm going to try them outside.

Friday cupdate. She's still doing pretty good budding up nice and getting frosty. I I think she will be one big cola when she's done. Just fed her some tea this morning and drinking a lot. Gotta love the blumats I don't have to worry about watering them twice a day and I can forget about them and they're just fine, gotta love the lazy ways of growin gonja haha. She's 6 weeks into flower. Her friend purple widow is doing ok. She's clawing so I think she might have to much nitrogen but she's budding up nicely too. Enjoy your weekend!

@bicit your update spreadsheet is right except BDOGKush I eliminated for not updating for 3 weeks. Cherrybomb74 I tagged when I put up my list the other day and still no update and it's been 2 weeks. Both are eliminated. One week updates are more than fair, 2 weeks or more plants change too much and that leaves too much time for possible cheating. If for whatever reason anyone is going to bow out of this contest, let me know so I don't tag you and try to find out what's going on. Let's face it you're going to be in the forums anyway so let us know. Still another great round, pay attention to your entry and keep them happy. Have a great weekend everyone :bigjoint::peace:

sorry for the delay in the spreadsheet. I went ahead and took those who have withdrawn or have not posted from the update log. I've updated the sex log but I don't know how accurate it is. Hard to tell when I miss something :P

Love how easy it is to read those... thank you

The purple widows and gigbuds birthdays are on 9/3

Running 13 outdoor girls on blumats right now. all happy. Even in 108f bullshit. I love them. I run one per 5 gal of media.
