I get screwed if the Democrats run the show too. I get screwed if Democrats and Republicans share the show. I guess the best I can hope for is the Republicans or Democrats screwing it up so badly that people come to their senses and put Libertarians in power, or a revolution. Either one.

Oh, BTW. Ron Paul would destroy Obama in an election. All Republicans hate Obama. All Republicans would vote Ron Paul. Most Independents would vote Ron Paul, and a significant portion of Democrats would too. You realize no one likes Obama, right?

Oh and, you can argue about how it's the world's "reserve" currency but at this rate the time will come when America falls as the Soviet Union did and our finicial system will collapse bringing down most of the modern world with it until a country like China, Russia, or maybe even Germany steps up.

Actually, the fiat currency we have holds value because our government says it does AND other countries believe it. What happens if other countries decide our currency is bullshit? It isn't worth anything anymore since nothing backs it.

I am not wrong in any way or form. Our Democrat Party in the USA is basically promoting expanding socialism in the country to the level that Europe has. I did not blame Obama or the Democrats for the state of our country in my statements in this thread any more than I blamed the Republicans.

We don't have any difference between the parties in my opinion. Neither side is Liberal or Conservative in real terms. They are both made up versions. The only actual Liberal party is the Libertarian party. Democrats are not liberal in any way or form. They do not support freedom of choice any more than the Republicans do. A person who was truly liberal would never support seat belt laws, drug laws, or income tax. In my opinion I am getting fucked regardless of who wins. The only real benefit of having a Republican government is that at least they wont try to take my guns from me, so if the time comes that I need them, I will have them. Other than that I am going to lose my freedoms and the freedoms of my future generations no matter which side wins. Republicans and Democrats are both Authoritarian parties. My true hope from this decade coming is that Ron Paul has made an impression on the direction that the Republican party goes. Hopefully the Republican party will head towards being liberal and make liberty an acceptable idea again..

Your comment makes little sense. It is obvious I was comparing the Democrat vision to the vision of the EU socialists. They want the same thing. Hey, here are a couple fun questions!

If the Democrats get what they want, will they stop pushing? Did the Democrats of the EU stop pushing further and further into socialism? What is the ideal final situation for the Democrats?

If the Republicans get what they want, will they stop pushing? The second question doesn't apply, cause its obvious who won in the EU. What is the the ideal final situation for the Republicans?

My answer is neither side ever stops its quest for control. Authoritarian rule is the ideal final solution for both, or, as I like to call it FUCKING US ALL IN THE ASS.

It isn't all I am worried about. Stop being dense. However, my ability to resist the government in 30 years when it is completely out of control will be severely compromised if it has been unlawful to own guns that are useful for a decade, or ammunition is regulated so tightly that your average person can not afford it is. Both sides have a five gallon bucket of Vaseline and they are licking their lips looking at the people of the United States.
