People aren't educated on nutrition. Most Americans equate calories with nutrition.

If you educate people there is no need to "outlaw" unhealthy foods.

What if you don't erm "educate" people? Is there a need to outlaw unhealthy food then?

Is she a fatty? Is she not happy in her own skin?

WW, why are you dieting so much?
I gave up cigs because I couldn't run up a flight of stair without gasping for air, I gave up sugar because I am the only one in my family (both sides) that isn't diabetic. I gave up caffeine because I over used it and my heart was fluttering. I don't need to diet because I already gave up all the good stuff I liked.

'They' is the people that like to tell you and everyone else what to do or consume. Pisses me right the f off.

Edit: I walk 2 to 5 miles a day depending on the weather.

Sugar doesnt cause diabetes, genetics and being a major fat ass are the 2 main causes.

I would have to say most people that are fat aren't happy.

They use distractions to cope with it.

It takes a tremendous amount of will power to break an addiction whether its crack or junk food.

That is lost on most people who never had a problem with addiction. Especially with how prevalent junk food is in our society. More so than drugs.

With doctors more willing to prescribe patients pills rather than to fight obesity, depression and illness with diet and exercise because pills are cheap and easily yet they cure nothing.

Yeah that is obvious. Take my dad for example yesterday I was at his house. He was taking his 12 daily meds with two large slices of cheese pizza at 9 in the morning.

On a side note. Did you know about grapefruit juice and medicine?
Grapefruit juice actually increases the amount of medicine you take in your blood stream

oh no, they might have to choose a more healthy alternative to the chemically derived fat that has been proven to raise bad cholesterol significantly.

The point is if you educate people they will make the right choices more often.

If you don't educate people expect problems.
Okay.

So do people need to be forced to eat or not eat certain foods? Who gets to be mommy and make those decisions?
