Oh I know that I would enjoy smoking it big time, never had the chance yet. Man it is a pleasure to teach with "students" like you, you make it worthwhile.
21st Century Hashishins will rock them..................

Thanks frenchy, if I was running 3 5 gallon machines on the same time cycle should I run them all through same 73 bag? Or should I retrieve my thrichomes before pouring another machine through?

Hi, here is some dry sieve outdoor hash that i made last year, with fresh trim.. this technique is my favorite cause it preserv most of the flavor/terpens..and with a little care its very clean !

The plant i use :

I also have a question for old timer hash maker.. For some reason, the hash i get from certains plants like pot-of-gold is really powdery and doesn't stick like others.. i know that sativa-dom trichs are more likely to be thin and long rather than short and fat, and i always use a 150 micron screen for my dry sieving to get a good yield no matter the strain..i just feel like sativa dominant trichs are a bitch to press, am i just not using the right micron or is it normal ? Thanks in advance

i dont mind, its basically the same tech overall except that your trim is slow dry during 4-6 days and then frozen, this will allow the trich to fall of without or very little plant matter..of course only use the sugar leaves that are still green or else is gonna give you dry leaf powder .

Hi Frenchy,

nice to see u here... I'm big D's dad from the Dank Hunter Clip and the one banging the Moroccan style hash. Looks like there is a lot of feedback to my method here and on YouTube which of course makes me very happy.
Don't wanna troll your thread but if its OK with you I'll be happy to answer any question in regards to my method.
Either way, great thread and hope to see you soon....

Cheers

Hey Merrengue pleasure to have you on the forums! Do you mind explaining your method a bit more for us? Do you just hit the container only NOT the actual material? Does the 220 size allow to much green to come threw? I was going to use a 190. Do you refine it after?

i freeze the trim when its moist but not fresh cut and then i shake it really gently, i like to put my hash box in the freezer to have a cold screen, i feel that it help the trichs going down easier and less is loose stuck in the screen..good luck !

Ok so i know its not the thread but i wanted to share with you some little pictures of what i use to have when i lived in europe.. PICT0004.jpgSome mazar-e-sharif, fair quality, far from the best..
PICT0029 (2).jpgGood quality Morrocan"polm", soft pressed, you grab a chunk a make a dark ball easy ! a little plant mater once in a while occurs but generally pretty clean
hassan.jpgBest quality morrocan, King hassan, only pure trich prefectly mature, stick like glue, taste really good and cerebral madness !

Loving the dry sift guys, glad to see more people do it too! What size screen(s) are you all using? I usually use the 110 and sometimes (rarely) I refine with a 75.

I would not, every load are often very different even coming from the same source and it would lower your quality I am afraid

If you slow dry your trims they are not fresh anymore, technically speaking you dry sieve dry trims my friend and you do it rather nicely. Would love to taste your hash.
Sativa dominant plant should be ultra sticky, made for Charas (hand rubbing) in fact.
