Thanks guys.

You know those clones i transplanted three days ago? Well i also switched the cfl's in my veg room to 45w 2700K's and switched the timer to 12/12 so could get an early start on flowering. I will get them under my hps as soon as possible. I am having a problem with some of those clones. To me it looks like it could be a deficiency, but the thing is i fed them nutrients same like i had done with the last crop and these are the clones. Ph has also been the same, temps are about the same, humidity is about the same, nothing has changed. Nute burn... Nah! Any ideas??

With the clones. What i do is give them a weak strength feed for the first week. Say a normal one week feed you'd give to seed. Then in week 2 I jump straight to a 3 or 4 week feed. I do this because clones grow quicker than seed, IMO. They are also the same age, genetically, as the mom they come from. The next week and it's a 6 week veg' feed.

Clones are much more mature than a seed plant of the same size. They need more nutes. Although what this exact level is I cannot tell you. I just err on the side of caution.

Okay skunkushybrid thanks for your input. I never really got a chance to give them a good dose of veg nutrients because they grew so fast and i didn't know i had to kick it up that high after 1 week. I started with a weak clone dose then started working my way up like i usually do from seed. When i transplanted and switched my lights i fed them the first week flower feed and 4 days before that they got just pH'd water. I need to water them again in about 10 ½ hours when the lights come on.
Any suggestions?

Oh and those 6 clones in the picture were all taken from the same mom at the same time, and are about the same size, and were fed the same amount of nutrients and water each time they got fed. Everything is the same. But some of the plants are effected a lot more then others, it ranges from mild to severe.

I was talking about this to somebody yesterday. The trouble with undernuting is that once you have a deficiency in one thing this can also cause def's in other nutes too.

As they didn't receive a decent veg' feed, they almost certainly will need more nitrogen. But I wouldn't advise giving a veg' feed during flower. This is why 3 part feeds are the best. with all in ones you have to give the same level of nutes. With 3 part you can choose either n p or k or two of them.

Just increase the nutes, is all you can do.

Also, don't expect miracles. Depending upon how severe the def'(s) are it could take up to a week to get your plants looking healthy and green again.

Don't expect instant success. Look for small signs, esp on the fan leaves of them getting greener, the stems too.

What you don't want to do is overnute, as this will most likely kill off your crop, or at least cut your yield in half. Even this tiny mistake now will cost you some bud, but my advice is ride with the loss and don't try and push your plants too hard or you could lose the lot.

I only have experience with Advanced Nutrients, so I can't help you with levels of feed.

If it was me, I'd do an equation... work out some type of probability scale. Add up all the factors, then make a decision on the amount of nutes to increase your feed by. Chances are you're going to need N and K.

Today we harvested one of our plants early. We did the manicuring and picked out all the very small popcorn buds for hash material. After we cut off most of the stems and the buds were trimmed up, I weighed it, the buds weighed 267 grams wet. Now to start the dry/cure process.

BTW it was the topped plant that i harvested. Those 2 big ones that you see weigh close to 50 grams each. Here are a couple pictures...

267 grams from one plant? thats 9.5oz! thats fucking amazing

forgive me for cursing
LMAO! You had me second guessing myself there so i weighed it again and it was just shy of what it weighed earlier. After examining my scale i found it to be inaccurate. I think it's off by 10% so that would put me at about 240 grams. I will weigh it again after i recalibrate my scale and tell you guys the dry weight. It looks like a decent yield, i'm guessing it will be close to 2 ounces after dry/cure.

9.5 oz wet

equals about 2oz dry

minus 10% makes an oz and 3 q's. Not bad for early. Should def' make the 2oz per plant when the others are ready. Nice job major.

Thanks skunkushybrid.

I think i will pull 2 oz off each of the remaining plants they look like they're already there. I cut the smallest looking one which was the topped one, the trichomes were mostly cloudy with the odd amber. Now that theres only the 4 plants it opens up a more space in my flowering room this should help them breath, ect.

Great Job man. It's nice to see someone with the goal of growing the best buds you can. It doesn't look like you took any shortcuts and now you are reaping the rewards. I am going to grow the Afg next because of your pics.

It's been 4½ days that my buds have been drying and soon it will be time for the jars. I just took a sample out and it's quite hard and drying nicely, i decided to bust it in my grinder and see if would burn. After i busted it up the smell really comes out and it smells good but it doesn't smell like the kush we get around here, in fact i doesn't smell like kush at all. It busted up large like kush does. *I just finished that joint* It burned perfectly! It looks very similar to the last kush i got from a friend but doesn't have that smell. All i smoke is premium BC buds and i know my shit pretty good. I can't really describe the taste i'm not good at that, it doesn't taste like kush, but it doesn't taste bad. The interesting thing is i didn't flush and it doesn't even have a hint of chemical taste. Unfortunately my scale needs calibration so i don't know the weight of that bud.
