I did indeed luc the stems are looking fat as fuck fair play, in my honest opinion I would let them flower away but only because I read in the cannabis grow bible that it could stress them out if you put them from flower to veg then back. I'm just using a dry reptile tank light, go to any pet store that does reptile stuff and you can get one cheap as.

Jay I know where your comming from in the sense of CFL power and the red/blue spectrum but lumens wise CFL's can match the HPS or close to it, it's not always about power but I agree a 250w HPS would do a great job, I was offered one in a set, ballast, light, reflector hood and 2 fans for £100 but the money I would spend on electric and my lazy set up skills would cause me to burn the house down haha The red spectrum is the better spectrum for plants because in the winter the sky is more an orangie red rather than a yellowy white which is the trigger for weed plants in nature to flower so the closer to the red spectrum of light you have the better for flowering, thats why HPS are slightly better as they have the right spectrum. Apparently the UFO leds are the right choice this is comming from weed users who grow themselves and use LED and CFL's only, 100w or more.

yes been smoking it from september good stuff yes 1 of the plants i cut up to day had some mould but 1 in pic was fine or i would have given the other 1 a week or so

Agree with you there... I'm lucky enough to be able to run a M/H & HPS at the same time, thus making a wider spectrum... Although I read somewhere that changing from HPS to MH for the last 2 weeks of flowering tightens up the buds...

Yeah light wise I'm a poor man I have to pay rent and shit before I can think of myself but the money I'l save from starting to grow will leave me enough open to experiment with lights ah well at least I have what I have at the mintue I'll save a fortune from 5 weeks onwards...gonna be smoking some of the indica if I have any left if not the ak's I started over a week ago should be cured by my birthday at soonest or christmas at latest...best year for presents yet What's the russian rocketfuel like? Heard those auto assasins are unreal to smoke, was gonna buy them next but think I'm gonna get a mix of cheese autos, bubbleberry autos, big budd autos and blue hymalaya diesel autos, possibly 2 of each but I have up until christmas to decide so no rush I'll see what comes out in between.

smoke is very good i really injoyed hawian skunk none of it left but rest is good as well

Alright Lads, Havent posted in a bit but heres a few pics of the girls on day 19 in soil.They are under 400w hps. 3 big devil autos and 3 fast bud autos And the old lady in the corner is just vegging along ( but still slowly budding) till the other 6 ladies are done so i can change the light back from 18/6 back to 12/12. i dont know if you can see but in pic 3 the leaves are going a little yellow in the middle, is this when i should throw in the first bit of nutes, am i correct in saying that this will clear this up. They haventhad any nutes yet. I am going to be using Advance nuteriants micro and bloom combo. Let me know what yous think as these are my first autos and havent got a clue what to expect....All advice taken and comments welcomed..

I'm lucky enough to be able to run a M/H & HPS at the same time, thus making a wider spectrum- whats your leccy bill like jay. i do be worried about the bill with the 3 23w cfl`s nevermind that football stadium lighting you have,lol. and jay your just greedy, anyone going to AMSTERDAM, wont you have had enough weed by then with that lot your putting down? good luck with them all being females by the way.
well i just got word from my other plant she also wants to be a lady as she stuck out two sexy hairs today! so thats 3 out of 3 for me which is pretty good for a first grow, and the plants have all of a sudden started growing like crazy again.
i think i am defo going for a ufo led so does anyone know where you can get them in the south dublin area or even town, if not ill get one of flebay. the ones on there am i right in saying the ones with LIGHTHOUSE on are the best?
ill post some more pics up soon of all the ladies and how much they have grown in the last couple of days!
jingle i might be wrong but thats a lot of light on those little ones and the soil does look a very dry so maybe thats just it. but i am only a first timer whos done a good bit of reading and asking questions, what soil are you using because theres normally enough nutrition in there for at least 2-3 weeks depending on what it is and if you add newts now you may start more problems, like i did! i wanted to add it straight away to get them growing but sometimes its just best to let them get settled in naturally and add newts later but thats just my opinion and i am probably wrong but good luck.

Cheers Lu, No deffo not underwatering them, It might look a bit dry in the pic but is still very moist and that was 2 days after watering, im only having to water every 3 or 4 days. The solis a peatless soil i got from homebase. Ive been reading a bit on autos and most of what i am reading people are saying use nutes straight from the get-go but just 1/4 strenght at the fist and work my way up to full dose by feeding every second water. And as for the light its sitting well away from them nearly 2 foot at the moment, Was even thinking of dropping it a bit but think i am gonna leave it at that position for the whole grow, am i crazy for doing this.

Alright Blade, to be honest the missus pays the bills but the way i see it the few extra quid every month isint going to even a quater of what u would be paying for some smoke if you were buying it so i think its well worth it.. I got it online, tara hydroponics, very good site...Thik it was only 100 euro

They sell the basic of basic but everything you need except soil, they sell nutrients I've seen on the net for £20 odd for £10, I done a good bit of readin' on the LED panels lastnite, don't know if I want one now, I'm just usin' a reptile light for the lightin' nothin' special Think I'm gonna stick to my original plan and wait until my 1st plant's grown and the money I save with not havin' to buy weed is goin' on a UFO light, think I'm gonna fork out the £130 for the good one, in the meantime I'm gettin' a red spectrum CFL, you can buy the bulbs cheap and they work in any light connection. Don't know about the HPS lights I know their supposed to be the best but I can't chance a fire in the house I'm an eejit and don't trust the way I'd set it up so CFL's are the next step before LED.

What ports are you on about dude I'm a bit slow I'm stuck between larne and portrush/portstewart, can't tell which one you mean haha I should have the ak's ready for around me birthday or christmas, nice present for myself either way

yes mate portrush/portstewart id nearly swear i replied to this comment already a few days ago but was lookin thru there and couldnt find it so soz if you got this twice lol.. anyway got my reflective mylar roll,24hr timer,curing jars from badass asda like £1 each, hygromometer ordered and soil ph tester now just need the fucking light, seeds, soil and pots then il be well on my way. think ill be too late to get a harvest for xmass but hopefully have a nice stash to smoke after new year so if you ever up in ports gv me a shout mate. cant fuckin wait im fed up smokin that mass produced sprayed to shit sore throat material that wouldnt get a gerbil stoned. the only thing i have to look forward till then is a mate in the damm i play modern warfare 2 with online. he sends me a 5g bag of amnesia all ground up in a birthday card for 40 euro. so do you think the bubblegum auto is nicer smoke than the ak?

i agree totally mate it will be worth the money its just im a bit paranoid at times ordering off net. im looking at a 600w hps at the min for £90 wich aint bad ballast and all new. how long have you had your light for if you dont mind me askin. the light is from ebay btw.

sweet think ill order that after all then thanks mate. i got my first one from a friend a cpl yers ago for my first grow but got caught lol so you can understand why im paranoid this time i just want to be extra carefull cuz if im caught again it will be more than £500 fine lol but thanks for your help anyway mate im just going to go for it to fk. also ive heard of ppl being tracked from ebay buying lights aswell so not too sure getting from them

im no expert mate dont know much about autos myself but some research ive done advises the light to be as close as possible without burning them otherwise the plant will stretch and get limp but by stretching apparently dont produce anymore bud.
