tonto im sure they have guano up in dig in tallaght, dont know how much it is though. once youve got all your growing gear all you need is nutes, so if they do put some sort of a ban on it all us lot will be fine as we already have our shit together, literally!

yeah nutes, seeds, new light bulbs and few other things if the ban comes in ya need them every 1 year or so that would be shit having to order from ebay giving away your adress by posting them to your adress that sucks, on the other hand i havin been here in ages and this thread really took off + rep for all use irish smokers enjoy your day....

They cant ban any of the growing gear, they tried with the Psychotropic Substances Act which stated the shop couldnt sell anything that could be used for cultivating cannabis IF THE person in the shop suspects "it would be used for growing cannabis". Talk about joke legislation!

The country would be alot darker if they banned all the possible growing bulbs, we wouldnt have any crops if nutes were banned and agricultural research would grind to a 100% halt and we'd be stuck in the stone age if we banned hydroponics. The problem the Government has is that everything we do is 100% legal until we actually put the cannabis seed into the soil/system...the only reason they can even take it off you if your raided is because its evidence because of the cannabis plants.

If you were raided with a grow tent setup without any evidence of cannabis plants they'd have to apologise and get your door fixed.

A ban wouldnt happen but items could become restricted like areas in australia, where you have to give names and address when you buy certain materials,proper agriculture wouldnt suffer as they have nothing to worry about , but to the average cannabis grower it would be a pain in the ass, say a guard looked through a list of purchase's, what legitimate reason could a city centre resident for example have for buying a box of bulbs , tents and grow nutrients? Pain in the ass like said but can be got around ,it could also be a major turn off for any new potential growers.

But dude your missing my point, they have to prove intent, otherwise your buying a fabric wardrobe, a replacement bulb for your security light/coral fishtank, potting soil, pots. You get me? They cant restrict things that aint specifically made for growing cannabis, and because cannabis is a plant it grows exactly as other plants do, and your allowed grow the other plants,so the materials are harmless.

Plus we cant ban things unilaterally that are legal in other EU states btw

Landlords warned on ‘grow houses’

Gardaí have warned landlords and letting agents to check carefully the bona fides of prospective tenants after a large cannabis “grow house” was found in a rented house in Drogheda this week.

Some 300 plants were found in the house on the southside of the town.

Supt Gerry Smith said, “This type of activity appears to becoming more prevalent and people who are renting out premises, be they owners of a property or a letting agency, need to be able to confirm the bona fides of tenants.”

In relation to the Drogheda seizure, which was made on Monday, Supt Smith said while no arrests have yet been made, the investigation is continuing.

chinese get busted=jail cost + prison spaces =possible plane ticket instead?

always wondered why chinese commercial growers just cover every inch with plants instead of other better methods like stadiums

Cos they dont care about getting 10% more for more effort, they're cash cropping scum who probably know nothing about weed and just have their "bosses" give them specific instructions as to what to do. Iv heard alot of these people they have working in the grow houses can go to prison for years, and the fact is they were probably smuggled in and then forcibly "given" that job.

EDIT: Got my Airpots, soil and nutes today. They didnt have the full Hesi range so I just went with Canna instead, got the Veg, Bloom and Pk 13/14, I wanted to try Canna and Hesi anyways, I might try Hesi when the Canna runs out. Also got a 200x USB microscope, its pretty good, on sale in Maplins for €35. You can clearly see amber, cloudy and clear trics in this example pic.

just add the flowering period from when you switched to 12/12, the plants are done though when the trichs are ready. the old scopes are the nuts arent they harrekin, they work really well. very clear its just a bitch when you move it around because everything is reversed axis like a ps3 joypad! drove me mad the first night.
too true about the old asians, the problem with most people is they dont realise that it is just that, shit weed. i think some people have been paying for it for that long that they wont even part with an extra fiver for something that is decent weed, not saying ive got any, then if any of you guys(not saying we are) try to sell decent stuff everyone wants it for the same quantity/price as the shitty weed with seeds and god knows what in it.

Alright lu, haha ye i have been having sneaky smokes off it, Its sweet. Its to hard to stay away from, Ive just been smoking the tiny buds.I have it all in the jar curing and i have to say it really is getting better by the day. The smell and taste are unreal and its a lovely head buzz. I have a bit of lovely squidgy black here that i reall have to try and stay smoking for another week to try and get it nicer. The temption is just to strong...lol

yeah your right there mate here is the weed the vietnesse/asian/chinesse/whatever grow haha i dryed this out and cured it for 2 week ages ago it comes moist/damp but drieds up real quick i slow dry it tho, if nobody ever seen it its ok not the best whatso ever as id say some of you already know
