The Irish Growers Thread!

A guy in Roscommon was caught with like 52 plants and got personal.

local lad got caught with 5 plants, done him for 4 grand worth and sent him down for 9 months today.....

its an outrage how were treated in court, growing a couple of plant and you get jail time....

Someone growing there own few plant and not supporting crime and drug dealers and they send you to jail for 9 months! thats just fucking wrong

yeah the poor sap, it was prob cause he was growing in a tent with hps that they fucked him, seen it as a "proper" operation. and all it was as we know is a fella with an inoccent hobby, paying his esb and not selling...

think i`ll try a little defoilaige on the ladies tonight, worked well with the cfl`s so hps should produce some nice results...

so whats you guys opinions on removeing leaves at any stage, i myself am a fan of it, not too much now just a stratigic pluck of the major light blockers and peskie ones..

I completly disagree with it, for the only reason not to is your reason to. If you remove large fan leaves to allow better light penatration the light that was hitting that leaf is dispersed a lot more. The fan leaf is a major producer of sugars which relates to production and overall health of your plant. There are lots of other reasons like shocking the plant or redusing gas exchange by reducing surface area. I would however be interested to know how it works out for you.

well like everything theres two schools of tought to it...

from cfl grows johnny i can tell you it helps no end, and i`m not talking about stripping her bare just the odd big leaf here and there, along with some from the centre of the plant...

if you take the plant out and pook directly down on her from the top, then remove just the odd one, i think you`ll see a good difference, it was only a gram or three extra with the cfl so hps shold up that a bit...

jesus that support button is a pain in the hole when uploading pics..

sorry about the flicker i`ll have to play with the camera to sort that, so just watching the watering now i have two of them up a litre every three days, but since the hps thats gone up to each day, pint in morning pint at night, with the feed being in the morning ...

nah the light is cool its only 80 degrees in the cab. it is definitely a white strain, i thought it was black jack but I sprouted two beans one blackjack the other great white shark and one didn't make and I didn't label them so I think its great white shark which is still a great strain!

love these strain name you lot have... they all sound so good....;)

i was the same md was told they were silver haze beans but smells citrus as anything so i think its a lemon haze, and the one thats different looks like big bud, as the 3 girls look nothing alike flower wise..
