Lol you need to relax paddy! ive never had anything stopped from herbies allways gets here in padded envelope like millions of other that come into the country everyday, ive also bought shit loads of nutes and bags of soil and coco from the uk hell even bought all my lights there and got my leds from the us and never had a stopage, a tiny envelope will not be looked at trust me

Honestly didn't think it was that easy kang. Know the seeds are legal and all but would still prefer Customs not to know what I'm getting. I could see a phone call being made.
Just because I'm paranoid it dosn't mean their not out to get me...!!!

if your still para and want to waste money select the stealth shipping and herbies will put the seeds inside a toy of teddy bear with no bags or names on them, i think they charge 7.50 for that but iver never bothered, you only need that if your living in oz, the ozzies check every fucking letter thats come in never mind packages, we are lucky here is very lax, they are only looking for cigi's or big boxes with no return address

im seriously thinking of going LED but i want the best i can get for around 300 euro,, any ideas guys ,, and is it worth it over my 150w hps..

I bought two of the blackstar 240's but i am unable to say yet how good they are, they are the cheapest 3w bulbs alot of cheap ones on ebay stay the fuck away from they are crap! being the cheapest good leds they have problems with bulbs blowing out so i dont know if i would say buy one or not, if i was gonna buy again id buy one led that uses over 300watts of power rather than two that uses 140w each, they are nosiey cause they have built in fans, but not very bad i can hardly hear them in the wardrobe when the doors are closed

my main reason is coz im not happy with the ballast in there ,i forgot to turn the fan on that i use to keep it cool and it was like so frickin hot. i could only touch it for a couple of secs before i felt the burn

Allways keep your ballast outside the grow tent/press mandy never in with the plants it rasies the temps in the grow room and isent a good idea, i have my ballast sitting outside the wardrobe on top of 3 pieces of hard-wood to keep it off the ground and prevent fires, dont sit on on carpet or anything like that that could burn

the wire form it to the lights is only 3 foot.. so its in the same room but not inside the little rig we made as a tent, but still its just adding heat.and a fire hazard.i have it on a cavity block on a table,hav fire extinguisher and blanket outside the room just incase,,best i can do,

saftey first mand i have a blanket and extingusiher aswell.... good point something we never mention is how safe is your room...
mandy i got a 400w hps light kit with digital ballast for 100e in tarahydroponics drogheda.had it on today for 8 hours just a test run ta c what the heat is like.the ballast only gets warm an it has a 4meter lead so can keep well away from tent.best value light kit i seen so far.the same one in a dublin grow shop would of cost 240e.the highest the heat went ta in tent was 27c.cant wait for seeds now jus ordered 3 lowryder2 off herbies an got a free easyryder cheers kang.

Actually just hung up my ballast today. Had it on the ground and a few splashes during mixing nutes left me holding my breath more than once...

27c is very cool indeed, the heat comming off my 150whps bulb alone is well over 30c without my fan,,

i just go by how it feels and weather i`m doing it right or its dumb luck but its working.. prob the latter but hey i`ll take it where i get it....
i`ll also have to buy a thermo at some stage just to see whats going on in there, and even when i do i doubt i`ll check it much ....
