hi guys
thanks for the info on the seeds, ill give them a go, theres nothing worse i think than puttinglots of effort into growing something and u dont know what u got.
i have a pic below of the three i am growing now, only 21 days and one is growing like crazy, much quicker than other 2. the only thing is shes(hopefully) a lot wider than she is tall, like a lot of women! is that something im doing wrong. i am giving them tap water and rain water every 2nd day. only started the little bit of nutes.
let me know what you think, any criticism welcome (and im shit at spelling)

thanks
lu

that plant you have reminds me of a weeping willow my gran used to have, is that foil you have in the cupboard or something else. the reason im asking is ive seen some stuff in bandq which is in rolls. its for insulation so its heat proof and it looks like foil with circles all over it but its quit thick. is it something like that you have got?
or does anyone know if the stuff in b and q is any good.
jingle apologies for throwing my pics straight up after you posted a question, didnt see your pics but im sure the plant of yours will be fine. ive been keeping track of your thread and one thing it is is tough that plant!
good luck

hi jingle
i know the stuff in b n q is 25 quid, do you think it would be cheaper or about same price for the mylar. i dont mind paying a bit more if i have to because ive read a few of the guys saying about that stuff, id say it gets some good reflecting back onto the plants alright. the smell from the 3 plants ive got is getting silly the whole house is smelling, i didnt ever think it would smell so bad, hows yours 4 smell.
cheers

https://www.rollitup.org/members/luciferateme-288051.htmlLuciferateme if you live anywhere close to derry you can visit a seedbank, well more a seed menu of 7 or 8 strains, or letterkenny has one I hear.

I know a guy has a HPS lamp also but if I ask him for it I'm not 100% I'll complete my grow ;P Shame. Ah well I have great patience I've smoked street weed the past 8 or 9 years so why not another few weeks, the money I normally spend on weed can be spent on an L.E.D light, undetectable and cheaper than a normal lightbulb :D

Coolham just as you say 20 degrees, have you heard anything about the temperature being related to the sex? I heard anything between 20-23 or 24 has more chance of females being produced than males but I'm not sure where I heard it or if it's true.

Seen that silver stuff in woodies last night, think it's on special offer, why not just paint it White much cheaper and almost as good as myler.

thats great guys
i think ill go for the mylar, i was going to paint but ive tried that so just want to do something different. i took the large plant out last 2 nights and put it on 12/12. while it was out the other 2 plants had more of the light and now the smaller one is just about bigger than the large one(mad!). i always like to try new stuff and because its my first grow i want to try all the different stuff such as white paint/mylar and i might go ahead and buy some of the led lights that are on the web. im not going to spend loads but i have read they are good for vegging. you can go back to vegging after youve seen the sex of the plant cant you?(back to 24hr light). i have to sort out the new cupboard because they have totally outgrown the box now. wait till you see the pic later and how much growth they have had in 3 days.
i dont know what they are but i think when i was buying the stuff someone said it was blue cheese. but then again it could be anything and im probably lucky its not a tomato plant with the shit ive been buying lately.lol!
cheers for all info guys ill put more pics up later and better quality aswell, how do you make the pictures small in your post and then go big when you click on them?
cheers

Richie are you growing any of yours outside your green house. I think i am gonna have to put one of mine that has just started to flower out the back. Do you think our weather is gonna hold up to finish them??

Another Q, My seeds germinated and i put them in little plastic cups and have them under my lights, they havent broken through the soil yet, just wondering how far i should keep them from the lights, i am using a 400hps, and i was told to put the lights straight on the 18/6 ( they are Autos) is this right, or should i start them on 24 for a week or 2??

I have mine in a mini greenhouse but now im starting to regret it bigtime, the humidity build up in it is very bad indeed as had to pull another moldy bud today. But then again direct rain ontop of the nugs doesnt help one bit... Last year i chopped my plants around the 15th of oct, they could have went another week or so but fuck it they were plaged with mold and had to come down.

Growing outdoors over here your going to get mold, its a matter of how bad its going to get before you chop.

If i leave it in my tent with my autos on 18/6 will it ever flower fully

Richie would you not be better building a mini shed using a panel from one of your mini greenhouses as the top and front so the light still gets in? Means then you can ventilate the box and if you need heat then it'll be easier to work with as it won't all be glass or plastic (whatever your greenhouses are made from)

hi guys
doiremick that plant looks lovely i cant wait till im at that stage, every leaf looks 100% healthy. jingle when i planted my seeds in little cups i put them on 24 and only used cfl on them, they were sprouted and an inch tall in about 3-4 days. i have taken another pic which is two days after the other one, so 2 more days growth, they are really growing now. i have got my cupboard nearly ready, i went with the stuff from woodies, its radiator foil or something which reflects heat and light so should be ok, ill put picks up when they are in there. at least i can put them in bigger pots now, hope it does not disturb them too much. a couple of the big leafs went dark brown on the end and died does anyone know what that is?
hers the ladies (hope)
