I had to admit defeat and put in a fan heater in my room, the low temps are stalling my grow and I was going to harvest tomorrow evening (3 days before week 8) but I thought feck it why harvest early after all this time...

Fingers crossed they'll enjoy the new warmth and give me a bonza harvest..!

Hey Tonto, by splash do you mean spraying the leaves? If so, no, just pour it in the soil, I think the yellow and brown leaves are just old age and poor maintenance?
My big worry at this stage is letting the flowering go too far, is there a danger of loosing the good stuff?
Being a noob, I did not time when i started the flowering stage, I think it's around the six or seven week now.
The best thing I did do was take a cutting to clone her, and that seems to be growing really slowly, I would hate to loose the clone, as I am emotionally attached now lol
After seeing some great pics on here I definitely need stronger lights, the two crap CFL's I use now are just not producing the speedy growth, feels like I have this plant growing for six months lol.
by splash i mean accidental spillage. Dont think the plants are near finishing yet. I think you should make a thread in the infirmary section just in case, get the leaves sorted, would be shitty for things to get worse at this stage. Btw what cfls you got + are your temps ok when your lights are off?

just a reminder for any one near a dart line, cant find the other article but there were listed dates for the work

Drivers alerted to low-flying helicopters

MOTORISTS in Dublin were warned yesterday not to be distracted by low-flying helicopters surveying train lines.

Commissioned by Irish Rail and undertaken by PDG Helicopters and Irish Helicopters, the aircraft are scanning DART overhead lines with a thermal imaging camera and checking for overheated parts.

"The aircraft will be flying quite low so people should be cautious," said Ian Baird from Irish Helicopters.

i harvested my Mi5 during the week and the Northern Lights and Pakistan Ryder then last night, the temps really killed my yield, going to have to build a proper box for them because its not worth it when getting so little off them. I havnt dried or weighed it yet but i recon i only got about an ounce total out of the three :(

Cold will kill your yield big time... you and me aren't the only ones on here to find that out..

Unlucky man, enjoy what you have and learn from your experience...

Mine is a MDF box in a shed.. Lights on at night, Intake / Exhaust fans on low but the day time temps are too low now.. It was mild enough till the end of November i thought...

I've added a fan heater now for the last week or so, thank fully it has a thermostat built in so it only comes on when its needed..
Im getting highs of 25-27c and now lows down to about 13 - 15c instead of 4 - 5c...!!

You in a tent in a shed...?

Spare bedroom mate.... house costs a fortune to heat... lights on at night (20~22c) and like you freezing (7~10c) during the day (when im at work and the heatings off)... yeah mine has a thermostat too... just trying to work out the setting for an even(ish) temp and less cash... even on lowest setting i think this fuckers using 400 watts when its on...

ive got my plants in the attic, lights on at night, off only for a few hours during the day but like that i do be in work so heating is off. Bought a heater for the last week but was too little too late. Tasted the Mi5 last night, nice smoke and decent high, much better than the stuff ive been buying while waiting for this to be ready. Started to germ the next 3 anyway, going for another Pakistan Ryder, a Spicy White Devil and Fruit Automatic. They will be only sprouting in the old setup, going to build a proper box saturday morning so this 8g a plant thing wont happen again!

do 250 watts put out much heat? why not buy another one to run during the day, make a venting system so that they heat each other.

they produce a bit of heat, not a lot but enough providing the other conditions are optimal. I'll probably put a heater in the box anyway for when it drops too cold. I was thinking about getting a 400w HPS bulb but might be better off just keeping going with the CFL for now and see if that works in the new box. I want to keep costs down to a minimum because im not growing it to get huge yields and sell it, its for personal use and whoever gets a pass at the time!

Hey lads, i appologise for the all familiar price debate but its been a years since iv bough street weed but the prices im hearing these days are stupid- i know of alot of people who are paying €50 for 2.5 g!
What ever happend to the good ol 3.5g for fiddy?
Are these prices the new set "recession" price or is there a problem here?

It's pretty standard nowadays to get 2.0-2.5 for €50. It's the scumbags jacking up the price man, its a sellers market. I know a guy who wanted 500 a zip for supposed "Lemon Haze". I told him I wasn't interested (or that stupid).

Just harvested a small piece of AK48 as a sampler to see how it's coming along. Christmas will be an "excellent shade of green" in my house this year. "Harrekin toasted by an open fire..."
