craic lads,Jay those plants look nearly as good as those lovely bouncing breasts.Last night curiosity got the better of me as to why some of seeds are not after breaking ground as the other 2 skunk are out since early Sunday and 2 of the easyryder since monday,so i started with the 1 skunk that was showing no signs of life and started brushing away the rockwool on top gently and when i got to her she was after germing, was about an inch down in the rockwool, seed casing was shed and was heading for the bottom.she really looked like she needed help so i repositioned it with the embryo leafs just above the surface and its starting to spread the leafs,greening up and growing today.
Next i moved onto 1 of the easyryders, down about an inch aswel, seed casing was shed but the tap root was after coiling itself around the casing, but the minute i tried to move it bout half the tap root snapped off,looked a little brown where she snapped, so i put the embryo leafs to the surface and buried the 15mm of root that was leaft and hoped for the best.checked her there a while ago and she,s after growing about half an inch embryo leafs have spread and greened. so i might get lucky.
1 easyryder never germinated at all so i split the shell with a stanley blade and planted again (properly) this time,
i suppose the lesson i learned is if germinating in the small predriilled rockwool cubes,fill in the predrilled hole and plant the seed right way round and no more than 10mm under the surface. i think it was down to the dept as i remember when putting them into cubes some of them were dropping in alot further than others. i suppose it wil be a good experiment to c if the 1s that germinated perfect on there own without me having to dig them out wil yield more bud than the ones i have stressed
it doesn't go away either, I nearly killed myself trying to hang a 125x250mm (in other words very small) carbon filter the other day.
