i try my best to not "make" people do things. i would rather help you realize the issue and address it. which it appears you are. the right choice will come to you on it's own my friend. breathe...........:peace:

Hummm, the sense of freedom you have giving me has almost won me over, if you had insisted than I would of objected, but the choice has compelled me to comply.:blsmoke:

Well I'm still relatively new to this forum and not wanting to impose to much but if I were to throw my 2cents it would be this.

This forum is pretty much laid back which I enjoy, and it has more freedom. There are no censoring of words and images (yet) which I give props to, as long as its not abused.

Which brings us to the question,

I say keep it free. It is the individual's fault if they are recklessly abusing the freedom of the forum, and they should be dealt with individually. As far as avatars, they reflect the user's maturity, and if anyone isn't 18 or above, I say remove them.

In further detail, I'd rather see more softcore porn avatars rather than the sometimes "thats just not right" images of hardcore porn avatars.

I Think that girls toples is ok, but I think showing more than that is alittle ehh, we can be like play boy, its not porn, its high class art or some shit like that :P

Weeds "barely" legal, if that.........so,.......... legal porn should be "legal". Although I don't appreciate the full, nasty stuff. My chick comes in the room, "No, baby, it's just a weed site, I swear!"

That's a bloody good point actually, aren't we all here supporting something that is illegal, and in our view unjustly. Yet porn in the 'outside' world is legal!
What a paradox it would be if we could openly share our illegal grow journals but couldn't display our own personal avatars because of the house RULES.:blsmoke:

If I had to remove my sig that linked to a news site, I find it funny people are allowed to have porn in their avatars.

Not to mention, as a guy, I find it embarrassing when I see it. I know there are women on the forums, and it's just kind of embarrassing as a guy to see. I mean women know we are perverted slobs anyway, no need to rub it in their face. Even typing "rub it in their face" made me think sexually. The avatars are really over the top.

Are you the one who removed my sig? I was ready to eat a ban over the shit too

Would still do the same thing if we had to do it over again. I actually almost added it back when you removed it and forced a ban. But then someone would just have removed it after the ban. If the sig would have stayed after I got banned, I would have taken the ban for it. But what's the point in getting banned when it will just get removed again.

One last thing to think about. What if a user added an avatar of a very graphic gay porn picture, would that be OK? I doubt it.

banned over a news site?

bullshit buddy, and you know it!

The site lists news daily and it keeps track of deaths/murders in the news. Just because all the news is focusing on a certain subject doesn't mean it's not news. Let's not get into this shit again.

I've never heard a guy say he was embarrassed by a picture of a nude woman....I picture those people that wear all black with their long white beards and a horse pulling a buggy....Maybe they might be embarrassed by nudity:)
