Yes that's right! A thread about sleep! We spend almost a 1/3 of our lives sleeping! So we should probably talk about it. How do you sleep? Where do you sleep? How long? Solo? Night terrors? Reoccurring dreams? Wet dreams? Sleepwalking? Insomnia? Lots of stuff to discuss. Anything sleep or dream related.

Damn dude, that sounds a lot like me... especially the part about being in bed with your gf lol jk but I'm for realz on the sleeping part. Most nights it takes hours to fall asleep and then I don't sleep well through the night and I'm usually the first one awake.

I have to read before I sleep, about an hour usually.. First half work related research papers, then some pleasure reading after... Currently on command authority by Tom Clancy

Helps me shut down my brain so I dont think of how small we are in the universe and what happens after you die

I don't sleep as much as I used to, but that's probably because I've incorporated a nap into my day. I'm also on a relatively new health regime for the last 6 months - no sugar or refined carbs, and loads of nutritional supplements. I sleep easily each night, and beside pissing once or twice (yes, I get up to use the toilet) I sleep until my alarm goes off. MJ really helps with this; I don't remember the last time I went a day without smoking but I do remember that my sleep wasn't as sound during those times. On MJ, I don't remember any dreams, but without it I would dream like crazy as not sleep as soundly. When I was younger I often battled to get to sleep, and went through some nasty bouts of insomnia lasting months at a time. Glad those days are over. I sleep alone (SO much better), and I recently started sleeping with a HUGE body pillow. That seems to alleviate my snoring as I don't move nearly as much, so I sleep and breathe better. I do awake covered in blood sometimes, but it isn't mine so I'm not concerned...

In grade school and beyond I had a terrible time sleeping. I think I can sum it up to having a terrible bed. When my wife first moved in with me she bought us a new bed and ever since I've slept like a fucking baby. All I need and get anymore is 6 hours and I'm good to go. I think I've mentioned this before but I have a pretty bizarre recurring dream wherein I'm making love to a nameless woman and suddenly as I'm caressing her perfect ass her cheeks turn into two loaves of bread and split apart and then I wake up. True story.

I don'tlike sleeping as it seems like a waste of time but I'm really good at it so go figure. Head to pillow and blam, out until morning. Usually 6 or 7 hours and I'm done. I didn't used to dream much but since I ran out of weed months ago I dream all the time, I'd rather have weed though.
On a side note, I hate sleeping without a fan... Ceiling fan on high and table fan on nightstand pointed at my head, ahhhhh. Also no clock and no phone in bedroom. My wife sneaks her cell in but I ask her to make sure it's muted.

I sleep great. Tend to sleep better in a bed alone than with someone. I hear others like someone else in the bed. I like that too but if I want to sleep, alone is better for me. I don't use an alarm. Never seem to sleep past 9:00 AM. Usually up around 7:30.
