If you're referring to earmarks Joe, do you know how earmarks operate? Earmarks do not increase how a bill is funded, they are there to state "where" the funds are to be spent.

For example, let's use the recent Farm Bill that passed Congress...The Bill was passed to provide X billion dollars. Earmarks are in place to specifically spell out what that X billion dollars will be spent on. Ron Paul has earmarked legislation to provide tax incentives/breaks for the shrimping industry against foreign competitors. Ever check where your shrimp comes from? I have...It comes from Thailand, China, Indonesia where they are on the verge of a total collapse of their shrimp population. I have since made a commitment to only purchase from US fisheries. Ron Paul placed the earmarks there not to increase the amount funded, but to see that his constituents would benefit from any funding. If the Bill was unconstitutional though, he'd still vote against it.
 
One more thing...If you think McCain is going to "protect" our borders, you're deluding yourself. McCain has been a representative for AZ for a damn long time. The AZ economy is heavily dependent upon migrant farm workers (read: illegal aliens)..He's entrenched just as much as the rest of them. Our agricultural economy can no longer exist without illegal aliens. How do I know? I grew up in Union City, CA as the only white boy in a predominately Mexican farm working community, many of whom were here illegally. I never saw an American pick lettuce for the wages they were paying other than my father.

He also voted in favor of the Patriot Act, FISA, and the Iraq Resolution...There's your voting record.

Here's another little goodie...He voted against reapplying Habeas Corpus (you know...that pesky little 4th Amendment thingie)for Detainees of the United States.

Voting for Patriot and voting against restoring Habeas Corpus in and of itself is a gross violation of the US Constitution...Did I mention that he supports line item vetoes that is also unconstitutional?

I've only know about RON PAUL for a couple months now. I haven't even really followed politics until I heard about RON PAUL because I never liked anyone enough(plus I'm in my early twenties and had other things on my mind). But I'm going to show my man RON PAUL as much support as I can from now on.

Also, I'm not going to question everything because I will lose my sanity. But if someone says global warming is a hoax, for example, than if I want I go and do my own research on the subject- from both sides of the argument. I use my logic to discern what seems to the most plausible.

Everything is so complicated my brain can't fathom the complexities of everything. Actually solids(a piece of lead for example) are mostly vacuum. If you look at atoms from a subatomic perspective than you would realize how much space the atom is devoid of matter. Also, atoms are not even made up of just protons, neutrons and electrons. There are things called quarks that make up protons, neutrons, and electrons, and there are six different flavors of quarks- up, down, strange, charm, top and bottom. Then you can break these down even further and you get into string theory.......:-|...... So you can see that life/nature is really complicated but looking into 911 or global warming is really a lot simpler than questioning EVERYTHING! Looking into the subjects that I have is actually like reading a mystery book, and I'm my own detective, kinda fun........ I guess thats all I have to say:mrgreen:

Now for a few negatives: First, he's on the verge of being senile which lends him to the POB. 2nd, he want's to start armagheddon in the middle east, "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" 3rd he doesn't know squat about economics, 4th ,he wants to continue the Bush tax cuts which he previously said he was against.
