Democrats are basiclly just controlled opposition at this point. They would rather throw the election than have a progressive win. Gotta keep the billionaires happy. No doubt they would rather push Biden through a brokered convention knowing full well he has zero chance against Trump than let a progressive like Bernie be the nominee.

Biden is the one Senator that I know of that didn't cash in on his office. The narrative that it is because billionaires are scared of Bernie because he will tax them is funny (and pretty sad), because if that was the case, they would just push to keep Trump in office.

Bernie won't be able to do anything unless he can help win the Senate and House, which is not on his radar from anything that I have seen. Biden is and has been pushing Democratic agenda for 50 years. And during that time he helped bring the Democratic party closer to actually representing all of the people in our country, all while never cashing in.

Just go with mayor Pete, far better choice for the establishment. He will do laps around Trump in debates. There is the issue of homophobic democrats but I think they are a small minority in the party.

But he’s an old white guy so has political credibility due to his white priv.

Accordiing to Guiliani and associates troll that is currently getting exposed as a Russian designed smear campaign on Biden, and one that got Trump impeached for trying to force a vulnerable foreign nation into helping create.

The only hard numbers I have seen put Hunter Biden (who has a Harvard law degree) into a job that earned him about the same amount of money as Joe could get doing 2 or 3 speeches when he retired in 2 years.

Not the 'millions' you Trump trolls claim based on a proven liars lies.

He has credibility because of a 50 year long career of championing Democratic values such as stopping racist redlining and job discrimination, protecting women rights, saving SS and medicare, cleaning up the environment, beating the NRA by banning machine guns, and actually being able to pass legislation while earning enough trust and having a clean enough record that President Obama chose him to be his VP.

It is a shame that he has been trolled so hard by Trump, the right and the left, that just by inventing shit with edited quotes and removal of context of the situations of the times, he is smeared like this.

Sorry old man. I only was able to guess your age because you like Biden and only really old people think Biden isn't just wasting his time running. If the Democrats run him they may as well just not bother putting a presidential candidate forward for the next election and just let Trump keep Trumping. I think he's a worse candidate than Bloomberg, and that's saying something.
 
I am a few years younger than Joe Biden and a lifelong progressive. Even to me he seems to speak a language (everyday
Speech) that is badly out of time with today’s beat.

It seems the energy in the Democratic Party resides in the progressive wing and younger populous. No one is motivated by a candidate who might choose a Republican for VP. Those days are dead. Act like Republicans-lite and Dems are fucked.

Both Biden and Bernie are leagues better than Trump (not a high bar to jump, this is true). Differentiater is: Biden has a record of accomplishment that Bernie hasn't come close to even beginning to match. Not that I'm pulling for Biden. Warren is my first choice. Buttigieg second.

Choosing between the two old B's, the one who has actually done something and isn't falsely selling plans to spend trillions in unfunded gimmees to naive voters is where I'd prefer Democrats go. Also I prefer a Democrat representing Democrats in the fall. Not the back stabbing do nothing independent.
