Cap Junky Chem91 in 3 wks now. The Strawberry Banana is in front of her 1.5wks.

Cap Junky just a few days in.

Bag of Oranges...1st day tomorrow. I'll pull these training floaters off tomorrow. These are small and compact plants. I expect more of that from this mostly indica strain. They are 6 weeks old and ready to go.
View attachment 5446925

GreenCrack MangoHp...1wk today. They got three more days till I leave them alone. I think they'll fill the screen..lol

The beauty of a monster clone. No shortage of bud sites. No topping on these ladies. As if I ever do on any plant..lol.

I have the floater screens secured down with a spike. It's there just to level the screen and hold it in place until the plant takes over in about a week. I'll remove them about that time.

Going to be flowering in my 4x4 soon. I may not have enough room for floaters so maybe I'll just use the smaller ones and see how that goes. Should spread them out fairly well and run maybe up to six.

Depends on what the Trainwreck and ForgetMeNots kick out in females. I need two. Would be awesome to get one of each.
Very nice!! The Batman slippers just added another layer of awesome

I got ya. I ran em (photos). They do have a lot of pluses for sure. I have been successful on clones. They give you more room for error. And we all know about the yields. I just am intrigued by the fact I can sample a load of different flavors, most are done in 75 to 80 days.

I went to the promix today with Night Owl's Dog Wistle (Chem 91 cut x Whistlen Diesel) and Speedrun's Granite Haze F-4.

We will have to get together and do some quality control and just bounce some ideas. I truly appreciate to offer on bud but to be honest I have to look into the Grove bags coz the ball jars isn't getting it done. I gift to neighbors and family so I don't end up tossing anything out.

Got that HLG Tomahawk arriving tomorrow, excited to see that run a flower cycle for me.
Really glad all this technology was not available when I was a kid. I'm quite sure life would of been different.
The time turnover factor is a plus with autos and so many varieties it's mind boggling. I try to mix up variety with the photos. I'll end up with 6-8 different strains in two tents. Running two of one strain with some.

If I ran coco or maybe even some wick buckets I may get a better return from autos. This last run I used 5 & 3gal bags. Of course the 5gal ones did better. I had run out of medium so I threw two in 3gal bags. I expected less and that's what I got..lol.

I'm just gonna follow you and see how you handle them autos. Maybe I'll pick up some tips. Speedrun is the only auto seed I'd want to grow if I was running autos. Seen many awesome grows from their seed.

I use simple mylar storage bags. Nothing is really long term storage here. I mean I harvested over 20oz of cjc91 plants in Oct. I'm down to crumble grams of the stuff. Errbody wants some..lol I grow for myself and my kids n grandkids. God damn that makes me sound old..lol

I am super excited for ya on the new lamp. A lamp is the most important tool we use and you've got an excellent one on the way. Someday I want a professional type lamp like that. What I'm using gets the job done but I am not sure how long they will last.

Very different for being out the same pack. How is the nose on these? What size pots?
The dark one smells of floral ass. Weird smell. The other is the normal fruity kinda smell.

Both of these were in 3gal bags. We're the other two I've already harvested were in 5gal. Pretty obvious the smaller bags made smaller plants. I'll not use less than 5gal for autos again.

You know I have never given coco a go. I truly understand the whole concept, but I have a hard enough time staying with a 3 day feed schedule. Don't fall for that retirement is kick back and put your feet up shit. The wife only made a longer honey do list for me.

I'm not sure how many tips from my run if any you will get. I'm just hoping no bad habits. Lol. I should have all that I germinated pop above ground today. So far we have 4 volunteers with 4 more on the way. Looking to find the 4 or 5 best offerings.

You ain't old, just starting to get seasoned. This may seem kinda crazy but I keep a calendar in my grow room. On this calendar I keep small notes on growing conditions, anything I do like leaf tucking/ defoliation, topping/femming, any changes I make. At the end of the run I put all the notes together and keep them in a grow binder. Don't know if any of the kids or grand kids would ever want them, but they will be there if they do.

I'm going to run this batch in 5 gallon bags and see how things roll. Depending on the outcome, I may be the next one to do the autopot change. To be totally honest I don't think co2 is something I want to get into. So, with that said, if it is going to require both co2 and autopots, I'm out. Just go back to doing what works for me.

I am totally stoked about the new leds coming and to see how they flower. Act like the little guy on The Christmas Story. Watching the mailbox waiting on my decoder ring to arrive. Lol

Well, at least that light won't put your eye out.

I've used coco and it's to involved for me. I'll take what I get with the peat and just shut up..lol.

That journal is a great idea. I've tried to do that but I can't seem to get it all together. I do better just posting online. One plus I get with forums is free journal storage of my grows with pics. Can't complain about that.

CO2...I'm out too. I have never messed with it. It may improve the environment a little. It may increase yeild a little but sealing up a room and monitoring add more steps and I try to eliminate steps. Simple sounds so much more appealing these days..lol

More good genetics coming soon. All of my seed is from breeders over on OG. I get some pretty nice plants outta their creations.

Skunk #1 F4..classic .I've seen pics of it. Sativa leaning
Blk Forest Diesel...Cherry Ak47 with a chocolate Diesel
Romulan...classic
Sowah Pebbles Mango Hashplant...should be interesting.

Trying to get this 4x4 staged and ready to go into flower. Two plants so far.

A gorilla Glue left n GreenCrack MangoHp on right. They don't need to much longer and I'll flip.

This beasty Cap Junky Chem91 monster clone is on her way to flower if she don't stop growing. I'd love to hold her back another 3 weeks. I'd have a slot for her in the big tent but she's just going nuts. So, I'll find a way to add her in the 4x4.
IMG_20250102_122819512.jpg

These two SFV OGbx3 monster clones are just getting back into veg and won't be considered in for a while. I'll be training these just a lil. Monster clones don't really need a lot of guidance.
IMG_20250102_123114111.jpg
Never to early to bend her over. There's three popcorn buds on this clone. All of them will blow out branches. She's gonna be another pair of bushy girls like the GreenCrack MangoHp turned out.
IMG_20250102_123015641.jpg

My regular seed. Trainwreck and ForgetMeNots 2ea. Not looking totally bad for being in 1gal pots for 7 weeks. Definitely showing signs of needing a new apartment. Hopefully the cuts I have in flower will show sex soon. It's been almost two weeks and these girls need some attention soon.
IMG_20250102_123119265.jpg

Cap Junky...#3 plant..this is the air layer I did last grow. Something happened I didn't expect. The smaller growth I left on there died off. The larger bud material I left on there is now taking off into reveg. Oh well, it's alive and I'll keep it for my next run. I'll be using that air layer method again. Easy cloning.
IMG_20250102_122909297.jpg
These little buds are dry and very dead. I wasnt expecting that to happen. I'll definitely take steps to make sure there's plenty of bud material left on the plant above the air layer next time.

The flavor sample is a draw to autos for sure. I have thrown away more old weed than i care to admit. For personal consumption, if quantity isnt a concern, 12/12 photos from seed is another option. There are a few threads here using that method

Bag of Oranges..9days 12/12

I'm gonna just let these 3 go from here forward. Should be some nice short stature indicas and fill that 2x4 space nicely.
IMG_20250103_181030134.jpg
All under 12"x12" floater screens. I'm liking how these are coming along so far. Not to sure a leggy sativa would do well with a small screen but so far these are doing okay. I'm expecting some 10-16" colas by the end of stretch and quite a few of them.
IMG_20250103_181048920.jpg
So far I've got 3 more plants staged and ready in the 4x4. Just waiting on them cuts to show sex of the reg seed.

It's snowing..let's get high..lol

Brand new bud fresh from harvest drying. Cut the two autos up n jarred them this morning. This one has the nicest buds. Small of course but nice lil nugs. I'll weigh these up later. That can wait..this bud is calling my name. IMG_20250104_121321856.jpg
Half hour later I'm feeling pretty good. Smoked two king size with the wife and got a nice buzz. Not super potent but a nice smoke to stay mellow on.

Tastes as good as it smells. Pretty smooth for this soon so time in the jar may improve even more things.

That's what I'm talking about! We are due to get us ( Columbus area) some snow this weekend into Monday. Just got off the web site to order the extension to remotely mount that Tomahawk driver. It's a hottie 81, degrees at 20% power. Inline is sucking out all my humidity. Learning moments. They should just include the extension and charge for it. Make life easier. That is some nice looking nuggets you have there, and no couch lock is a bonus!

It burns a lil warm aye? 81 is a fine ambient temp. Have ya tested it 100%? My environment heats up to about 87 during lights on but the leaf temps are a lot less.

Humidity can be a tough one in winter. I struggle too. I try to humidify the entire room versus inside the tent. When ya crank up the exhaust for higher heat it sucks it all out..like ya mentioned. Seems to work better when I condition the whole room.

Autos like a cooler setting. I try for 75-78 degrees. Currently I'm using a cool mist at the tent intake and a warm mist in the corner of my room. Extention should show up next week. In the mean time, the two humidifiers let me run 78 degrees and 65% r/h. Yet another reason to look back at photo runs. When I get that driver out of there I'll be in business.
