I'm kinda late to the party with this, but shoutout to the Blue Dream ya posted up!

I'm running 12 BD cuts I got from a buddy and they are the pride of my garden currently (even though I have a Jack the Ripper and an Omrita that would both contest that point!). Flipped to 12/12 the day after the election and they're already lookin nice. Getting a little taller than I planned on them being at this stage but their just so damn perky it's not a bad problem to have.

Couple Pacific Sour Diez in there too but they are the sickly ones of the bunch, I don't quite know what to do because I think they might be rootlocked or something.

My camera recently shit the bed but i'll see if I can snap a couple quickpics with the camera on my phone and slap them up here of my Blue Dream babies and their sisters.

Garden looks awesome BTW. Can't wait to see some of the pics of the yuletide dank haul you got comin in.

Thanks for joining and for the kind words.. You got in on the fun part really and I already got things prepped for the 2013 run.. I'll be popping some more beans soon. But I have 12 seedlings under t5 at the moment. I was going to start a new thread soon.

The 12 seedlings running now are 6- blue ox and then some 2x starfighters an 4x lemon alien dawgs. I popped so many because they are regs and I'm thinking half are going to be male. For 2013 I'll have another tent setup with a 400 and that's when I was thinking to pop new beans.

My real reason of popping so many beans because there's a lot of strains I want to grow and cross ect plus one of my resolutions is to actually grow out some strains that I chucked together... So most plants will be finishing in 1 or 2 gallon pots this way I can fit enough in with some trimming and pruning sshould be okay

i dont know if id go below two's

but i have seen sum genetics that lean towards big results
from 12/12 an in red cups but not all genetics favor these practises

sounds like a good plan

i was lookin at lemon alien dawg -alien genetics

Damn man that's crazy. I'm having space issues with my tent right now too when it comes to thinning out the herd...

I've got the 12 BD, 2 P. Sour D., 1 Omrita, 1 JTR, 1 BC Kush, and 1 Super Silver Haze in there under the Agromax 600w HPS complete tent kit from HTG. And then in my veg i've got another 12 BD, 2 Infinite Euphoria, 2 Fire OG (who are dying on me), 1 Purple Kush, 1 Chem4, another JTR, 2 Atomic Northern Lights, and 4 more SSH under 2 t5s which i'm supposed to be flipping sometime in mid-december to early january (my friends and I are trying to go through a complete mini-perpetual before I either re-sign my lease or move in April). All my genetics came from my buddy, a dispensary employee with a nosey landlord who needed a spot for his girls, and I had a tent that needed some occupants so it worked out. Hence the all-over-the-place strain list and numbers lol.

But my big thing now is i'm way too crowded in there. At first I thought I would be able to swing it but now it's a damn jungle in there! I've got one of those Febreeze-brand tower fans in there trying to keep the flow right now, it's going to be impossible to get them all back in once I have to transplant either monday or tuesday. Most of them are still in 1 gallon square pots, the Diez and my 2 best BD's already got transfered into 3gallon round ones, now just waiting on my growbags to get here. Can you really finish in a 1 or 2 gallon and expect decent yields and dank results? I always thought you needed the rootspace to really clock it, but obviously you know what's good so i'm very curious now. That might be an early Christmas miracle if I don't need to break up my "garden family" by selling off teens to make space.

And what do you do as far as bottom/flooring goes with your tent? I've got all my pots sitting in these plastic trays so I don't mess shit up, but i'm starting to realize i'm losing alot of space because of this. Is there some trick I can employ to protect the floor/tent or should I just say fuck it and worry about all that when its time for cleanup?

Already got them, but they don't maximize the space of the tent.

*I can only fit 2 larger pots in them, and then there's space left around the edges and room for like another half a pot on the tray. I'm trying to see if theres a trick where I don't have to lose all the corners and halfpots and really get the most bang for my buck out of the limited space i'm working with.

yeah the lemon alien dawgs are alien genetics and so are the starfighters. I was thinking of trying 2 gallon smart pots. I know with clones going 12/12 1 gallons work great. Right now my bubba kush and venom og are in 1 gallon pots the docs and blue dream are in 3 gallon grow bags.. I let plants finish in 1 gallons before yeild was small but i got decent amounts under a 400 watt with the 600 seems to be impressing me too. Well see when I chop the bubba on Friday :)

Well I just use the bottom plastic that comes with the tent..

Okay I was cleaning up my room checking things and I got a good amount of the Scott's og drying right now. I touched a beach and it was semi dry but I could feel it was seeded good.. So I thought the seeds would be premature but they seem to look good enough to try out.. While breaking thru this I can tell its some dank it has a strong kush smell.. Can't wait to try the dry buds.. All the buds that had pm were discarded the same day so all the buds left are smokable :). But I'll still check the branches off the main.. I know I got more seeds hidden in some other buds too;)
The seeds are a cross of Scott's og mom(triangle kush x rd#1) x docs og father(faceoff og cut x rd#1)

Right on, that's what I figured but I'm a little paranoid. Thanks mayne.

This is my first tent-grow and i'm an hps rookie for sure so I'm always keeping an eye out for where I can avoid a fuck-up.

Im hoping I got more dark colored seeds then lol. I'm sure I got another branch or 2 that was dusted so I'm hoping for a nice little amount. This looks like it will be getting germ tested later this week:)..

rich, im not sure it matters so much. i had some recently grown dog cross seeds. i picked em right out of fresh harvested bud and picked 5 lighter ones 6 darker ones. 4 lighter ones and 2 dark ones popped, up in veg now. I was suprised as i thought the lighter wouldn't pop hence the extra dark.

im sure sum dark wont germ an sum light will

prolly diff in germ an quality very close
but id still select a stack of dark over a stack of light colored beans
if given a choice any day

you take yo white beans ill take my black
i have been tossing them maybe ill slow down on that
an give someone needy

i have come across all kinds of varyations
sum let them cure like weed
sum use right away
