The Shot Glass Grow Off '09!

Hmmmmm,, I JUST planted a seed into a rapid rooter... Any objections to me disecting that fucker out and droppin her into a shot glass? Last second entry? And so its easy can we just pm a weekly image to op and u post it in order or a list of competitoes or something? Lol
 
Hey, I posted in the main growers topic...but then I realized I can't qualify because I made holes in the bottom of my plastic cup. Is that cool? Should I delete my post?

That would be the third transfer in less than a week of it's life, I really don't like the idea of that. I'm also out of cups lol. I guess I can seal it up with electrical tape or something. That should be easy since the cups are doubled up to limit light getting to the roots.

EDIT: I posted in the other topic that since I'm a novice here, you guys are probably gonna win anyway...and I have no clue if the whole grow I'll be able to follow all the rules and succeed at even getting it to flower lol. Would it be okay if I document my 1" attempt in the other topic, and not be a contestant?

Also...how much do you guys anticipate the yield would be? Is everyone going right into 12/12?

nah im not, since i got 1 single box for growing and i have a grow started mines going under 24/0 for a little while until my main grow reaches around 5-7" then im throwing all of them into 12/12
 
I think i have a possessed seed. I had to start a new seed night before last...long story, and it already Popped about a half in above the soil!
 
Question: With this type of grow, should the size of the leaves be trimmed, if keeping it low? Just a thought.

I ask, since I plan on LSTing it, around the small 1" cup. I'd think that depending on what strain I have I could end up with really fat leaves that just cover each other up when going in a circle. Plus, since I'll have it on a desk, I could trim the leaves to look a different shape :P

are you talking about cutting your leaves? thats not good for your plant bro
 
Mine is kinda stretched. About 2" tall already. Looks good though despite one of its two first leaves got chopped off! LOL.
 
i feel bad for my lil guy.. all the other bigger plants in my veg room even the moms r mocking his size and talkin shit to him about how small he is
