Sonofnothing! Thanks for answering bluepants question? lol. I think I might know that person very very well, and That person might even have known what the strings were tied to. Not sure yet but he may be watching me right now? But honestly I'm not sure.

Bluepants!!! are you who I think you are? If not that's cool. Just noticed ya had only 2 posts and the answer was in 1 or more of the pictures.

Water day. Str8 PH neutral! it's been 1 week since was last watered and fed. One must be using a little more water than the other as gave them both the same amount and I had about 1 litre extra run off.

I noticed the very tips of some of the mid branch leaves spiking up, gonna have to go do a bunch of reading as it could be a number of things, that I know!

Also 1 or 2 of the old fans on each plant have gone yellow with brown curley tips not sure if this is related or if they are just finneshed thier job, It's the brown tips on em that make me weary.

All things aside Today is the confirmed day that these will start thier 12/12.

Not sure how these things stretch during flowering ,and thier getting pretty big so i don't want them getting too tall on me as that will defeat thepurpose of having a short canopy with lots a tops.

3 Days into flower!!

PIC 1,2 Plants are lookin good, noticed that it was gettin very thick and bushy near the "curve" in the plant close to the top, So I decided to tie it down once more and it seemed to open it up alot. You can see how fast they turned back up after the tie down. The pics are only 1-2 hours apart.

PIC3 I usually dont trim fans leaves, but the lower canopy was gettin very very thick so I Trimmed out a bunch of leaves, maybe it will concentrate a little more on the tops branches etc. plus it will help with airflow under the canopy.

HaHa! I just saw this for the first time without reading it at all.... thats fuckin cool man.. sorry, just thought Id share that- it made me laugh, but looks very beneficial!!! Im going to read this now. bye

Looking great mexi, i love the idea of sideways growing. do you think its possible to make them grow sideways completely by say having them in box and putting all the lights at one end maybe a CFL in either side?

lol yeah its a good idea ain't it!

mexiblunt how did you start them off horizontaly?

I didn't. They were grown "normaly"in 2 gallon pots, then when I thought the time was right, I transplanted them sideways in those garbage cans. It only took a couple days for all the branches to grow str8 up, I then took the branches that were growing out of the bottom side and bent them up into the middle, bettween the 2 plants.

looks like I have about 10-15 nice top cola type branches, on each plant. Plus a million other ones.

Yeah we discussed that a few pages back. We came to the conclusion that the plant will grow to the most intense light source, so doing that would virtually be like growing standard with a good fan for strenght. I see where the cfl would help light the "lower" branches as in closer to the medium not the floor, as the plant will grow like a standard plant, so they won't be growing up they will be growing sideways.

Because indoor lights don't penetrate more then 3 feet of canopy If I vegged these plant this long the "standard" way they would be way too tall for my 250 hps, even with my 150 hps hanging on the sides, I would have to turn them or move the 150 around them to even out light dis. This way I only have about 2 feet from tops to main stock, plus I now have a full 400 watts lighting the same amount of bud sites. Actually probably more as alot of these side branches would not have been so big growing "standard" without alot more light and training.

So yeah basically I'm trying to maximize my light and space useage. I used to grow 10-20 clones flowerd very small in a closet on a 2 week cycle. lol what a pain in the arse. Kinda like AL B fuct does but very small scale and in soil to boot. Plus If shit were to hit the fan I only have 2 plants instead of 20+ that probably will get blown away yeild wise by these 2. Just have to budget the harvest while the next 2 go after that.

Well lesson learned!!! lizards do not play well with duct tape!!! Our little gnat eater cujo, he is an anole lizard, has died. I hadn't seen him around for a few days and just figured he was hiding in the canopy of the plants as he usually does.

The last place I seen him was sitting on this peice of duct tape that let go 4 days ago that is kinda on the back side of the pots. He must have been stuck there. I didn't think nething of it then as he was looking at me and moving his tail etc looking normal. Little did I know he must have been crying out for help with his little inaudiable voice, today I looked for him and that's where he was, all dried up and stuck to the tape. I feel bad because of the fact I seen him there, SHIT!!!. I know it's only a little lizard but he was the coolest 1 I ever had. gonna have to get another this weekend. maybe 2, just in case. lol.

I was gonna take a pic but I would sooner remember him alive. Like this pic.
