The Sidewaze Daze!

I was told by someone you have to upload them on to another site, then on to rollitup to get the big pics you see in some of these threads. It doesnt make the pic bigger like paint, but it allows you to post big pics. I havent done it yet but the site he gave me was photobucket.com. GL.
 
Yea, i belive photobucket is good for that method. and paint acctually makes them a tad smaller and better compressed, you just click on it to make it fullsize in IE 7.

Lookin good mexi, looks like your sideways method should pay off big. Lots of bud sites. So what did you do to get your pics like that.
 
Thanks there are actually 2 of em there. one is behind that 1, same size.

If you look through the canopy on first big photo you can see I am having some yellowing and browning on some of the older-oldest fan leaves. Nothing too serious I hope. They got fed yesterday, and foliar fed today. If it gets crazy i'll post a prob in the growing section.

Im in about the same stage as you(day 30), and all kinds of leaves are falling off. The buds are using all the plants energy, so I dont think its anything to worry about.

Thanks johnny, ya There is crazy bud sites on em, you can't even see half of em in the pics. As for the pic, I re-sized them to medium and large just for comparison. Large being 1024x7??. Uploaded them to photobucket. and just copied and pasted the img code that they provide. simple, sweet. I'm pumped!!!! gonna go throw some of this AK47 and Big Bud I got today in the bong now:joint: :joint: :joint: :joint: :joint: :joint: :joint: :joint: :joint:

They've gone more vertical again though, you've done a good job no doubt but I would have tied it out more. Kept all the branches horiztonal and allowed the buds to lift up. You get buds growing out of buds then.

Your right! I tied one of the big branches out yesterday, not horozontal as it's too late for that. Plan is to do the other 4-5 tall tops today, that will open up alot of bud sites in the middle. holding them out by hand makes it look like more like a stadium grow.

Yeah I guess the biggest factor for doing this was trying to maximize yeild off of my 400 watts hps, without growing a dozen little sogs. This way if for some unforeseen reason shit were to hit the fan I only have 2 plants aposed to a bakers dozen.
Did some measurments. The two bushes together are 3.5ft x 3ft. So square foot wise I am sittin at about 40w per sq ft. The tallest top is also 3 feet from the main branch.

I didn't expect these to get as big as they have. I know I know expect 2-3 times stretch in flower, Did that! just had a hard time visualizing what they would become! I'll post some pics once I've tied em back.

Also the 1000watt m/h is being delivered today.........To add or not to add that is the question??????
 
No word on the 1000 watter yet. But the idea got me thinking about the next grow/batch. I took 3 clones from these sidewayz plants. They were neglected....heavy dutie!! I let them get very rootbound while just maintaining a little health, they grew in a 1/4 gallon pot till a week ago into these 1/2 gallon pot.


Decided I would transplant them into 2 gallon pots and tie them over. I want to see If I can get them ready by this weekend give or take. If the 1000w come this week I would then be able to flower these 3 in my room as well, this weekend being week 4 on the sidewayz it would be a nice stagger harvest.

Hey mexi, some of your LST methods are really inspiring. Im def. going to refer back here when I start bending my clones.

Gave the plants a good soaking today with a light nute. Think they might have been drying out on me? Still havent got the watering shedule figured properly. Gonna start going with less water/more often! I think the big containers are creating dry spots if I only water weekly.Anybody know why these pistols would be all brown already 26 days? it's just a few of the smaller bud site doing it? lack of light? maybe dry soil?

Re-arranged the light agian today got a nice overhead pic. man I need that 1000 watter to come this weekend!:hump: :hump:
