These were taken from a larger list of about 40 strains that appeared in various ‘Strongest Smelling Strain’ posts on a variety of different online forums. UK Cheese had the most hype, and other strains like G-13 Labs Super Skunk, Deathstar, Sour Diesel, Shit, Shoreline, Trinity, Albert Walker, Mendo Madness, came in second, third etc. The strains have a bias leaning toward ‘Pure skunk odor’ although others on the list are featured for their general high powered and extra loud smell, like Cat Piss, Garlic Bud, Sour Diesel, and Cheese. The amount of posts for any one particular strain was a large part of the decision making process in creating this list, but also from the ‘stink’ made about particular strains and the emphasis placed on a particular variety via the grower’s personal experiences. Of course the more experience, the more their opinion was taken into account. There are likely many more than whats on this list..

Runners up include: Afgooey, AK-47, Alaskan Thunderfuck, Amnesia Haze, Armageddon Skunk, Black Domina, Chemdawg 91, God Bud, Devil, Dumpster, Holy Grail Kush, HP-13 (G-13 Hashplant), Jack Herer, Jack The Ripper, Kali Mist, Island Sweet Skunk, Las Vegas Lemon Skunk, MK Ultra, Neville’s Skunk, OG Kush (various types), Ortega, Power Plant, Puna Budder, Romulan, Renton’s Green Onion, R.K.S. (DNA GYO Collection), Sensi Star, Skunk Redhair, Space Queen, Yumbolt

* Road Kill Skunk was left off of the list as it seems likely it went by another name. From the late 1970s through the 90’s, in particular, a variety of extremely skunky weed was making its way around smoking and growing circles that old timers refer to as RKS. In all of the research I did, this strain appears likely to be one of the aforementioned, or perhaps multiple strains from the list or relatives of them.

The smelliest strain I've grown so far is Green Crack. Made everything in the house smell the first time I grew it.

I disagree with this list being illegitimate. It’s certainly not complete, as I stated. Forums are limited. But the amount of posts I went through and the tallys I kept track of and reviews, etc – this is certainly a great place to start for anyone looking for smell.

You go and do a bunch of work and there’s always somebody to complain about it.

That SoCal Cat Piss isn't legit. Catpiss is a clone only strain. Nothing from seed will be the same.

What ones the socal one theres at least 3 separate catpiss cuts from usa from all ive seen i have heard that ones a ssh pheno ones a indica and the other one a skunk pheno or hybrid supposedly ?

I know rare dankness has some hybrids with a catpiss cut idk what one they use tho

On paper yes in reality no s1 s aint always true to the mum some be different some be similiar some may be there own things it is possible to find good s1 versions like say bomb threat for example but you proly see alot of not so great stuff too just depends some strains s1 s stick closer to the parents than others in my experience

707 Seedbank has CatPiss, an indica variety, I think all of them are, Norcal and Socal (Which is similar to Trainwreck). The SSH one is a pheno.

707 catpiss is the norcal catpiss x chemdog bx of something but bx3 to the norcal catpiss. I would have to dig thru my notes to find the corrent lineage but its moreless that just don’t remember the correct chem bx male used

I had dinachem once and in around 5th week of flower it smelt like legitimate cat piss. im not saying it smelt a bit like cat piss, no it smelt exactly identical to cat urine and actually turned me off it. Never had a strain smell like that before and makes me believe in that RKS
